I have the same problem with my 2010 Hyundai Sonata when they make that noise it not dangerous to drive but should be replaced correct?

I had mine replaced about a month ago and it stopped for a while but now the sound is back. Any idea on why it came back?

Maybe the strut. Ball joint. Lower Control arm or sometimes called A frame. To test ball joint, left that side up, once the wheel off the ground, hold the wheel north and south and try to move it, if it moved at all it’s ball joint. If u tried moving the wheel side to side (east west) it outer tie rod (or inner). But if it’s making the noise exact noise again, most likely it’s the lower control arm (A frame)

Seen another video where they mentioned to make sure you tighten the upper control arm bolts with the upper control arm at a resting position. If you tighten the upper control arm at a non-resting position, then lower the car, it can stress out the rubber bushings in the upper control arm causing the noise.

That’s correct 👍 you should do the final torquing while the car on the ground. We did that mistake but then we redid it. Thank you for your helpful tips

When I replaced my struts I didn't have to remove all of that 😂

It's not hard to just take the 3 bolts out of top of strut so it can move around.....and u can still jack it up. Or down from bottom....just leave bottom bolt in strut
