Hyundai Tucson 2.7 NO START. I blew it up, then tore it down.

This pig wouldn’t start. We found the timing belt wasn’t turning- it was all downhill from there. Hopefully this can help someone out who is deciding to tear into one of these. I take the timing belt off, and tear it down to the heads. Check it out.

I see that the airintake is different, but can you or someone tell me if everything else is also suitable for the Hyundai Sonata EF 2003 2.7 V6? I plan to use the engine from my sonata in a tucson with a broken engine. I have already changed the engine of mine in the Sonata and made the timing belt myself. Runs well. Thanks

Do your timing belts and tensioners and u won't have a problem

Did you watch the video? 😆 that is what I did. Then it tossed the rod into the oil tank

@@thebak4d then the engine had other issues I see so many vehicles at the auto wreckers simply due to them not having the timing belts changed

Ya. That’s the whole video. Only way to find other issues was to do the timing belt and tensioner. Then the bigger issue was found.
