Welcome to the CDOT median barrier proving grounds. Here we are testing various methods of preventing high-speed crossover crashes. There's the old (somewhat) reliable; the guard rail, shiny and new. Then there's the cable stay barrier; the modern standard, the jersey barrier. We're even trying out the traditional orange barrel and, where there's enough room, nothing at all.
