I’ll agree with others in saying that the title is clickbait. Bryson is a figure within the community, and brought many new people to the platform with the original vinwiki video, but was nowhere near the first to do it. This video’s going to receive some backlash because of the claims here.

They are cheap because they are worn out easily and parts are expensive so as waste of time which is even more expensive then anything, because wasted time you never get back. Get yourself a proper offroad vehicle if you want offroading and leave the Porches and other nonsense to the few brainless hipsters out there in the wild who have nothing better to do in life ... I still to this day wonder how these incompetent people manage to have a job and money to waste also have zero value for the time in their life which is short btw.

Talk about someone with all the skills and talent but none of the vision and execution. The “I love seeing other companies grow” is code for I messed up big time. If this guy was smart, he would’ve patented everything he did and licensed it to other companies while he’s growing his own business. This could’ve made him a lot of money but he had to drag his ass with execution and others stole his sh*t😢.

You can't patent lifting a truck and fitting the usual off-road accessories to them. This same stuff is done to literally every single SUV and pickup in existence. Even the most obscure and rare old low-value ones. And the most expensive ones, including the Rolls-Royce Cullinan. EVERY single SUV and pickup gets this same treatment. I'm not saying he did a bad job, no: someone has to take the plunge and develop this stuff and then market it to recoup the investment. I'm not saying he didn't do anything. I'm just saying he didn't invent upfitting as that is done to EVERY vehicle in that category and it was done to the Cayenne already.

@Rahul Sudhir yeah but its the same platform as the porsche cayenne (different engine iirc). Both cars are really fussy. Electronics arent the worst but they had a ton of factory defects that would pop up in the wiring and Volkswagen had this stupid lifetime transmission oil policy and wouldn't sell anyone filters. Not the worst car i have owned but there is a reason they have a bad rep. Funny enough the engine never gave me trouble, though i had the v8, the controller for the air suspension was a hot mess and eventually it ended up getting deleted and had normal struts adapted. It kept randomly raising and lowering itself lol

@@zachogdahl210 Lol, my friend's Dad had gone overseas for 4-5 months n came back to the damn think sitting with the fenders literally touching the tyres. If I remember correctly, it was fixed under warranty/extended warranty the first time n out of pocket the second time. The W220 n W221 Merc S Classes had the same issue too. His Dad had S500s from both generations n the air suspension gave way on those too. His Dad loved the Tuareg n still owns it today. I think he slapped in coilovers at some point.

@@robwaters8848 No, he didn't give credit to everyone. He only mentioned the people in his version of his story, his friends. The reality of this is that every single SUV and pickup in existence that has ever been and ever will be ALWAYS has this treatment done to it. ALWAYS. And the Cayenne got this treatment on an other continent, by the manufacturer themselves no less, already in 2006/2007 (2006=racing version not sold/2007=customer version sold to the public). It wasn't his buddies that "came up with this", it was the entire world that has come up with doing this same stuff to them all: from Isuzu VehiCROSSes to Rolls-Royce Cullinans.
