Kudos for having the forethought and good judgement to get the training. I relate to it from the swift water rescue classes, first aid, rope rescue techniques, etc I took when I got into whitewater kayaking. You hope to never have to use it but if you need it, it's a game changer. That he had to use his training on himself on his own is the most ironic part. Well done.

All those extra lights on the front of the car and this river just jumped out in front of him! :D On a side note, he mentions that he had to climb up a 20ft embankment, whilst I'm not discounting that it would have been a fair climb, the pictures show that it is 10-12ft down AT MOST. Give it another 6-18 months and his story will be that he needed Sherpas to help him up a 1000ft ravine! :D:D:D

Did you have a roll cage fitted as that might help with the windows and the roof bending in, and you've got alot of crap on the roof too, as I dont see anything on the dash or cut into it like it might not be a bad idea to do a half cage as the thing wasnt designed with a metal rack on the roof like that in mind with its crumple zones also I would say if you cant see anything, look into getting some night vision goggles for your next night drive so you can see the road better if you get blinded like this again, and wont have to rely on the side of a road as your navigation point

Okay, okay...Let's stop pretending. There is no such thing as an "accident" when it comes to auto collisions. Saying things like, "I couldn't even see the tail lights in front of me" is a pretty obvious clue. 😅 "Driving too fast for conditions" is exactly the cause. If you can't see and you crash...you were going too fast, even if the speed was 8 MPH....YOU CAN'T SEE. 😂 Let's look at if from another perspective, if you could see and were driving safe for conditions, than you drove off the embankment on purpose. That's your only other option to this scenario. 🫣
