Agreed! I have a 3 yr old black cat named Bartholomew 'Bart'. He's got long fluffy hair and he's the softest thing you've ever felt! He will slowly come up to me and gently nudge my arm when he wants pets and will cuddle like there ain't no tomorrow! He's such a little gentleman! ❤😂

Ii have always been a dog person but about 25 years ago a black cat adopted me. I was very surprised because they usually don't seem drawn to me. Long story short, I named him Joe Black because he decided to stay and I had watched the movie, Meet Joe Black, with Anthony Hopkins & Brad Pitt, the night before. Great movie btw. He and I became best buds in no time. I couldn't believe how intelligent, loving and, spiritual he was. Yes. spiritual. We computed telepathically, but is wasn't evil or scary. I still think about my old Joe Black. Btw, if you have or see a black cat, please keep an extra eye out for them. This is the time of year people with bad intentions go looking for black cats for some kind of stupid rituals they do. I was happy for my time with Joe, but I am back with dogs for now.

Loki walked in my window about a year ago. I couldn't locate the owner and the local animal shelter said they already had 30 stray black cats, so I kept him. He's the best little fuzzy friend I've ever had. I live in an apartment and everybody knows Loki. I love him so much.

I miss my black cat Violet 14yrs. Now I volunteer at the shelter where black cats are adopted as well as the others. Black cats are feared by superstitious Christians and people brought up in ignorance, just as well they don’t deserve them.

Not only superstitious Christians but also superstitious locals here in South Africa. They also have issues with black dogs. That's why a friend of mine has adopted 2 black dogs and a black cat. Mostly, I think it's people with black hearts who do not like black animals.

Chester and Bobby's friendship is a wonderful thing...I had a big gorgeous long haired black cat before cancer took him at age 10. He was an awesome cat, and I still miss him a lot (RIP 2011)

I had a stray black cat named Rinpoche (precious one). He slept in the crib with my son when he was a baby. He loved when I talked to him. If I stopped and he wanted me to talk more he would gently touch my lips with his paw. There is nothing evil about a black cat...they are PRECIOUS!
