Sreeram sir, We know you are very talented musician. We also know that both ARR and Raja sir are highly talented. We also know that in any music composition the contribution of Ilayaraja is very high compared to other composers or musicians, arrangers or conductors. You may talk all these on youtube channels. We know that you cannot talk like this infront of Ilayaraja. If you are really that much straight forward tell it in front of Ilayaraja. You cannot because he has did more to music genuinely. His contribution to a song or score is more than any lyric writer or arranger. I know this because I also sequence songs on computer. What i have found by trial and error is that only Ilayaraja songs will stand the test of time. You are fed up with the way music is done but you travel on the same path for your survival. So, you better not talk about a person who has raised standards and set path for you in music industry to make music and live.

Mr Sreeram has crossed the line. Interview was about an issue with ARR. In part 2 he claims he is impartial etc but the way he described one of Raja Sir work shows his bias, attitude etc. well Mr Sreeram getting it from everyone and compiling is called "assembling" not composing.

இசை என்பது சாமானிய மக்களுக்கும் மனம் கவரும் வகையிலும், பாடலின் பொருளும் புரிந்து கொள்ளும் வகையில் கொடுப்பவரே சிறந்தவராக கருத வேண்டும். ஆனால், பார்ப்பன கூட்டம் மட்டுமே தலை ஆட்டும் புரியாத இசையை கொடுத்த மும்மூர்த்திகள் ஒருபோதும் மேலானவர்கள் அல்ல. இசை ஞானி அனைவருக்குமான இசையை வழங்குபவர் என்பதால் அவர் மக்கள் மனங்களில் என்றுமே மாமேதைதான்! மேலானவர்தான்!! இரகுமான் இசை திறமையைவிட பல புதிய ஒலிகளை இசை வடிவில் புதுமையாக வழங்கும் திறமை உள்ளதை தவிர மிகச் சிறந்த இசை அமைப்பாளனாக வந்திட இன்னும் பயணிக்க வேண்டியது நெடுந் தொலைவு உள்ளது. 200 படங்களை நெருங்கி கொண்டிருக்கும் இரகுமான் இன்னும் கதைக்கும், காட்சிகளுக்கும் பொருத்தமான இசையை பெரும்பாலான படங்களில் வழங்கவில்லை. மாறாக நவீன ஒலிகளை நிரப்பி இசையாக கொடுப்பதால் அதில் எந்த உயிரும் இல்லை என்பதே உண்மை. என்னை பொறுத்த வரையில் இரகுமான் ஓரளவு இசையும் 100 விழுக்காடு சிறந்த ஒலிப்பதிவு நுட்பத்தை கையாள்வதில் வல்லவன் என்பதை ஒப்புக் கொள்வேன். அநத திறமைக்கு பல முறை பாராட்டலாம்! இரகுமான் பல புதிய பாடகர்களை அறிமுகம் செய்ததற்கு சில காரணம் உள்ளன. 1. தன் இசையில் மூத்த பாடகர்களிடம் தன் விருப்பப்படி வேலை வாங்குவது கடினம் என்ற நிலைப்பாடு. 2. புதிய பாடகர்களிடம் அச்சமின்றி வேலையும் வாங்கலாம். மக்களுக்கு புதிய குரல்களை கேட்க வைக்கலாம். 3. இரவில்தான் இரகுமான் பணிபுரிவதால் அனுபவமுள்ள பாடகர்கள் எப்போதும் ஒப்புக் கொள்ள மாட்டார்கள் என்ற புரிதல். 4.எல்லாவற்றுக்கும் மேலாக ஒரு பாடல் இப்படித்தான் பாட வேண்டும் என்று உறுதியாக இரகுமானால் சொல்ல முடியாது. தனக்கு தோன்றிய முறையை சொன்னாலும் அதை பாடகர்கள் தங்கள் கற்பனையில் எத்தனை வடிவங்களில் பாட முடியுமோ அனைத்திற்கும் அனுமதி அளித்து பாட வைப்பது. பிறகு அவற்றில் இருந்து எந்த வடிவத்தில் பாடப்பட்டது தன் மெட்டுக்கு மேலும் சிறப்பு சேர்ப்பதாக உள்ளதோ அதை தேர்வு செய்து பின்னணி இசை சேர்த்து முழு பாடலாக வழங்குவதுதான் இரகுமானின் செயல்முறை. இம்முறையை மூத்த பாடகர்களிடம் எப்படி செயல்படுத்த முடியும்? அதனால்தான் புதிய பாடகர்களையே இரகுமான் அதிகம் நாடுவது. இந்த நிகழ்ச்சியில் கலந்து கொண்ட பாலக்காட்டைச் சேர்ந்த இசைக் கலைஞர் தன்னை அறிமுகம் செய்த இரகுமானுக்கு நன்றி உள்ளவனாக இருந்து நன்றாக தன் ஆதரவை வாரி வழங்கி உள்ளதை காண முடிந்தது. அதற்காக இசை ஞானி சொன்ன கருத்தை புரிந்து கொள்ளாமல் அவரது இசைத் திறமையை பத்தோடு ஒன்று பதினொன்று என்பது போல பேசியது வன்மையாக கண்டிக்கத்தக்கது!

When a musician sells his soul / dharma for chump change! WHY BRING Ilayaraja's name in something unrelated? Where were all these termites hiding whenever Ilayaraja was blamed (with IR being on the RIGHT side legally and morally)? Sriram sings IR songs in his SM pages to showcase his prowess, but here he is being unfairly "loyal"! All these musicians carry the "grudge" that IR did not give them opportunities (though he has sung one song for IR)! How many songs did he sing for Arr; 1000?! In 2009, Bollywood's Ismail Darbar said the SAME thing as Ram Gopal Varma (though he did not name the person which is out now)! They all dismissed him as "jealous". Now what?! The so-called composer was in soup 3 times before this: 1. 2018 - Malayalam composer Ouseppachan almost sued him for using his composition in Kaatru VeLiyidai; his mother bailed him out! 2. 2009 - Ismail Darbar 3. 2023 - Hindustani musician's family claiming for the ownership of PS-2 song! ' Jai Ho' song has Arab Instrument ' Oud' solo in it. , Does Sukhwinder singh did it?? and ' Jai Ho' song has got Spanish lyrics and Japanese ' Taiko' rhythm in it , again Does Sukhwinder did that?? Not at all. Since Sukhwinder good at lyric writing, ARR calls him and they jam togeather come up with the hookline like ' Jai Ho, thats it.

He is spoken about how the art of composing is 'cheating'. No one before or after him has been this open. So, he composed based on those inspirations but never got someone else to compose.
