I think boat speed should be buffed by how many troops you dedicate to it, like how fast you can take land when you have squares. you have "more rowers" that way.

They need a mod or something for a an auto-clear island button. You press it, and it'll launch small boats automatically to clear out island players who are annoying you.

i love territorial but i think my favourite game i’ve seen you play is either risk or dummynation, little tip for you in DN, european countries with 100 political freedom have very cheap diplomatic actions (i.e. peace treaties), and germany is a very good starting country to conquer as someone that borders them as they have a very low military for their high gdp. hope this helps! P.S.- coming from someone who has beaten every easy & hard country
