I think the part I struggle with most in the loss of Chris and Chester, is that listening back through all of their early music... they literally screamed out their pain to the world through music ; millions of us heard those songs and cries for help. It chills me in hindsight, and breaks my heart. It has made me more cognizant in paying attention to the screams of people who don’t get their “song” played on the radio

There is many other musicians in the same boat as those two. Music and lyrics are certainly metaphors for a lot of artists. A way to tell people how to you feel, even if the recipient doesn't comprehend the real meaning. Its a therapy. And i like to believe that it has saved more of them than we have lost. And to the ones the world does lose, at least they truly had a go.

Jack Black is a massive lover of music and you can tell it is in his heart and soul. He has a way with words for sure. Even though he was goofing around trying to lighten the mood and make people laugh he also showed a great deal of respect for Chris's talent. You can also see Jacks love and devotion to music when he does the Kennedy Honors speech for Led Zeppelinsi Presidential award from Obama. Jack is a class act.

@Angus Beef God I get you, Trust me!!! If Only".. I was meant to see him 'Live' 2016. And just before,. I lost my Mum 💔 So I couldn't go. Obviously it was put off. So Swore 'Next Year!! & Then Chris... It's So f*n unfair!!! And how blatant! I too really hope so, I say the same thing myself all the time. It just infuriates me. When I think about it Like going through the stages of grief, Over & Over....

The best way to honor and remember Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington is look into what they were involved with TOGETHER. There is an untold story the world should know and consider. I fear their stories have understood endings that aren't so well understood if you know what I mean. Maybe there's nothing to it. Who knows? But consider what they were indeed working on together. That is the important part and the work should continue in every conceivable way. Have a grand day.

Such a funny introduction from Jack Black. He proposed a theory that actually made sense of Chris' unmatchable vocals.
