Mechanics-wise, its a power up that depends on how many characters you have left, meaning the more characters you have, the less powerful it is and it lasts for a short period (also recovers health). But, if you have one character left, it will be very powerful, lasts a good 20 seconds ( I think, correct me if I'm wrong), and essentially recovers your health alot more than w/ 3 characters.
