I didn’t want to stay quiet as I know this comment section was getting a little rowdy. I want to make it clear that I fully hear and respect everyone’s opinion and I am fully responsible for the content I put on the internet. It is irresponsible of me not to make context of these small snapshots of my life that you guys see more clear, i.e. the dates of these trips and more clearly show you guys how I live on a regular basis. Yes, I do enjoy myself when I travel and yes, I eat anything that I feel like having. It usually boils down to one or two things each day while I travel for a few days. As I said, I should probably be more clear of the date when I post these videos, as my last 2 videos were a full MONTH apart in the real world. I have stated multiple times on my channel that I usually indulge in a cheat day here and there about once a month. With that being said, the entire rest of the month, I eat a healthy diet and I train 6 days a week. The point of these videos are to show you that restricting yourself is not healthy and incorporating fun food into your diet every now and then won’t kill you or sabotage your fitness goals, as long as it’s not every single day. The only reason I haven’t been posting as much fitness content is because it is the time of year that people enjoy watching more foodie content...and due to the diverse content on my channel, I have a diverse audience. I did poll my IG and my YT audience and that’s what you guys told me you wanted to see 🤷🏻♀️I always appreciate and value your feedback and as you can see, I take it to heart. My next few videos will be entirely focused around fitness and training, so I thought with these upcoming fitness videos, there will be a good balance. I hope you understand that I indulge occasionally, but I’m mostly eating a balanced diet while concurrently training/exercising. I will do a better job in the future of showing you guys this side of my life. Please be respectful of each other in the comment section, as I want this to remain a positive environment. Much love, XO 💕

I think you are very entertaining and creative. I think you are very good at your job was far as content, editing ,organization and I thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. Its just hard to believe that this is not a part of a binge disorder. The amount of food you eat on these cheat days is so unhealthy for the body. I understand you calculate every number and the science behind what is happening to your body and I am glad you are able to maintain a healthy lifestyle throughout the rest of your life. However balance and moderation, fun and living, has nothing to do with eating these absurd amounts. These cheat meals are absolutely not cheat meals (or days) , these are instead a very high intensity symptom of a supressed binge disorder. Some people have monthly bulimia nights and these cheat days while you do keep everything in and are clearly not bulimic, are similar to that. You are feeding your obsession and illness with these days and think that collaborating them with youtube videos and fitting them into your lifestyle means that they are ok. Cheat days are important, so are cheat meals. I suffered from BED for a majority of my 20's but finally found the answer to what my body and mind needed in order to have a safe and happy relationship with food. I hope lastly that you are able to continue all the wonderful things you do for your body and with your work without pretending that this type of food intake is in any way shape or form anything other than a sub conscience eating disorder. I respect you greatly and wish you the best
@Nora-ws5hu5 жыл бұрын
and Ps. promoting healthy lack of restriction like you said is the opposite of whats happening in the videos. Promoting what you claim is to show that you can live day to day without rules and regulations. That you can enjoy weekend meals and drinks, you can eat a cookie if its the middle of the week and you can still do all that while staying fit and healthy. I for the first time in my life in 2018 was not afraid of food, I was able to choose candy and bread and still lose weight. I knew my body I learned my body I loved my body. What you're doing is a frightening binge followed by a shock to the body to stop the binge hence the ten lb gain and loss. Its quite concerning. I love you which is why Im saying this . Ok goodnight my dear. Hope you respond.

@Magic_beans_3 жыл бұрын
She already has, but the short short version is to just go back to your normal food and exercise. Don’t worry about breaking even by starving yourself or doing a ton of cardio*. That can create a vicious cycle of overeating, shame, and restricting. Also, remember that your weight the next day will be overstated due to water retention and additional food in your GI system. You may find that you’re up 5 lbs the next morning, *but* at least 4.5 of that is just water. Go back to your normal routine and it’ll fall off in a few days. If you know that seeing the scale go up will cause stress or shame, don’t weigh in for a couple of days. * Intent is important here though. I find that I’m really active after a big meal, but it’s just because I have so much energy. I’m not doing it to punish myself or to try and break even. I don’t add any purposeful exercise that wasn’t already on my schedule, beyond perhaps a casual walk or bike ride. Instead I try to find productive outlets like cleaning or yard work.

Now, I'm able to watch again and just enjoy seeing all the yummy food. I would never ask Stephanie (or any creator) to not make cheat day videos on my account. The difference between what Stephanie's doing and binge eating is that she doesn't put a label on anything and just eats without the negative mindset. I'm sorry but even labeling this as "binge eating" when Stephanie eats primarily whole healthy foods on a day to day basis shows that a lot of you guys are projecting your own negativity and insecurities around food onto her. It is JUST FOOD. You guys act like she's doing drugs or going to gain 100 lbs overnight. Stop putting labels on everything and just EAT. Yes, it's important to listen to your body, eat whole foods, and move your body but it's also OKAY to just let loose every once in a while. MY GOD society has brainwashed the hell out of us, tbh after looking at these comments I think MOST people have some type of disorded eating because to be THIS triggered over the act of eating is concerning.
@fittythree77395 жыл бұрын
Sydney Sussman hmm I wonder how most people will like the outcome of their body if they eat like this. Binge eating is binge eating. Sorry you don’t know what u r talking about. @@fittythree7739 I'm NOT SAYING TO EAT LIKE THIS EVERYDAY. Did you even read what I wrote or are you just stupid? I'm just saying to stop labeling everything. "Binge Eating" is just eating. Yes, you ate more than you should have but people use the word to punish themselves bc it has such a negative connotation behind it. You don't have to beat yourself up over food, it's food not heroin. But idk you seem to be the type who enjoys doing that to yourself so idk if punishing yourself for indulging from time to time works for you then cool.
@fittythree77395 жыл бұрын
Sydney Sussman whether you call it binge eating or not is inconsequential. If you have a channel which focuses on fitness then it’s irresponsible to also preach the opposite extreme. While you may call it letting loose it is extreme. Perhaps by defending this you feel justified in eating this way. Extremes are not good in either direction. Of course we have to enjoy tasty foods we don’t normally eat but eating donuts and pizza and on and on In multiple posts is sending a bad message. Case in point. You think it’s ok because she does it. I rest my case. Have to get back to my lifting and eating healthy now.
@drey38665 жыл бұрын
To the comments saying that watching these make them wanna "binge" or live an "unhealthy lifestyle" then you need to get off the internet. If you can be persuaded SO easily to make those changes in your own life because of Steph's channel then you really need to get off and focus on yourself and learn about yourself, and the ways you want to live your own life. Pretty sad tbh, how can you blame a content creator's videos for poor lifestyle choices? Further, the title AND thumbnail literally tells you what's going to be in the video - no clickbait, no lying, no cheating. So either get off or stop giving Stephanie a hard time for putting out content that obviously she enjoyed creating, and many of us love watching!!!

Some of you in comments suggesting that Stephanie should post these cheat days or "binge eating " videos on another channel or not do them at all because YOU lack impulse control and have eating disorders but that's not HER or the rest of the people who watch and do have impulse control. You saying she shouldn't is like the goverment making alcohol illegal and we all know how bad that turned out. You people are placing the blame on others instead of yourselves where it belongs. Should we all stop driving because some people are irresponsibly driving under the influence?

Also, I can't speak for everyone, but a true binge is often times met with a lot of guilt and shame and normally done in secret. I can't imagine filming a binge of mine because normally I am in a horrible mood and want to keep it hidden. Binge eaters don't eat food for enjoyment like this video shows.
@noor40364 жыл бұрын
she is not a binge eater, she has unusual appetite. that's why she is all in at the moment. you would know your comment is bs if you had watched her other videos.

@@noor4036 I'm actually calling her the opposite of a binge eater.

@@noor4036 As I stated: "Binge eaters don't eat food for enjoyment like this video shows." Stephanie is clearly enjoying herself and is mentally well. Binge eating is neither of those things.

Everyone has the freedom to post whatever they want, I honestly think it's very honest of her to post what she eats on cheat days, or travel. She's worked hard to attain her level of fitness and a dessert doesn't hurt once you're at that point, from time to time. I'll have to check out some of these places when I go out to Dallas!

You share with us positive energy, joy of food, fractions of your whole life and really, don't worry about the opinion of other people. Very often this isn't a result of constructive criticism, but the desire to cut wings. Just live, do what you love and what you think is right. What makes you happy - that's when we can get the most satisfaction from watching your videos. 💕No one has the right to judge another person, because we aren't the only crystal. What about the fact that you are a "public figure"? Are any of us going out on the street or putting posts on facebook not becoming a public person?Of course, we are. Now everyone is a "specialist" of someone's life, instead of taking care of ... I don't understand this the need to pour out sorrows, grief and venom towards another human being, just because he is creative, tries to achieve something in life, has a plan for himself, develops ... 😩If everyone focuses on his life, self-improvement and seeing happiness among others your loved ones, that would be wonderful! I personally thank you for being able to participate in your "adventure", that you share your insights and passions.Great job ❤️

She is not binge eating because, like she says in all her cheat videos; she eats when she’s hungry and stops before she feels uncomfortable. While binge eating is where you eat past your comfort zone and you eat to discomfort. So please stop calling this “binge eating”. No labels are needed.
