The difference between a soft and hard dps test. The wall needs to be killed by the time it reaches the end of the world, that's non-negotiable. The moon lord gets a lot more annoying if you don't have enough dps to beat the healing/kill the leeches, but it's still possible.

I have probably explained the moon lords healing mechanic a hundred times at this point, there was a lot of exasperation behind that line and I figured I’d fully chart it out for people. Honey doesn’t reduce spawn rates, it has a weird spot between lava and water. Every enemy except Wyverns and harpies needs a block to spawn on. Lava on top of the block, even a tiny sliver, prevents it. Water doesn’t prevent it, there are water specific enemies that spawn. There are no honey enemies. About 1 and a half to 2 blocks of honey stops anything from spawning.

I'm pretty sure the only time I heard reference to Moon Lord being impossible to kill with the Copper Shortsword was something along the lines of Yrimr doing every boss except the Moon Lord with Copper Shortsword with the reason that Moon Lord heals too fast. I remember as a youngling, I thought that to access the dungeon and avoid death via guardian, you had to keep Skeletron alive (Came to that conclusion as I couldn’t kill him, thought he was intentionally unkillable, and tried solving it like a puzzle game I was nine, so...) Eventually someone hacked in an Excalibur on the mobile version and killed him That being said, no Fleshy wall as it was mobile, so I was still stuck on Skeletron for another few weeks, but with the knowledge that he was beatable, I beat him Also had plans to beat the guardians and Skeletron in daylight by moving faster than him (Former wouldn’t have worked, this was also before the bone key, latter would’ve, but I had no clue of the defense buffs and only knew not to touch him In the end, in most other worlds, I beat both Daytime Skeletron and the Dungeon guardian using Heart Arrows, (date and time changes), Then later became stuck on Duke Fishron and Plantera (I entered all the way to Plantera without knowing about such arrows, at least in my first world)

Best idea ever: Make a calamity addon that adds in a variety of lawnmowers as weapons, with each stage of calamity mod giving players access to a variety of dropped or craftable lawnmowers to fight enemies and bosses with (either boosted by true melee damage or they have their damage boosted by the highest class damage). They should do stuff like either spawn weird projectiles when you hit an enemy directly with them (the lawnmowers have very short range but deal immense damage and spawn a ton of projectiles when they touch the lawnmower sprite) like true melee weapons but to an extreme, and if you are holding the keys and moving in the same direction as the lawnmower you deal even more damage, and when you are on the ground or platforms, you can grow plants that do stuff that can attack other enemies (BONUS: PLENTY OF PVZ REFERENCES). Lawnmowers will be difficult to land hits on enemies but if you land hits, your hits will be HARD (like true melee in general). Or some of them can deal more mediocre damage but they can grow a trail of plants or spawn various short to medium range projectiles as you move or fly through the air in the same direction as you are using the lawnmower, allowing you to leave a trail of destruction that can deal damage relatively more consistently and reliably. That way we can beat supreme calamitas and exo mechs in infernum mode with lawn mowers without losing our sanity :3 .

your Moonlord fight has taken a bit over 10 more hours than when i did a 77 hour kill on calamitys "Primordial Wyrm" (formally knowen as Adult Ediolon Wyrm) with nothing using 400 boulder statues and 2 teleporters, which is't nearly as bad as your ML fight, since i could just AFK for 3 days stright for the kill. Very impressive preformance.

@@hellofend4734 because I saw a video about someone killing AEW with end game gear and teleporters, so I wanted to see what is actually required for the kill. The biggest problem was that without the elemental excalibur there weren't that many if any weapons that could hit AEW before the projectiles despawned, so I made a manual teleport system where I used pre-cultist gear and a defiler from the plaguebringer goliath to give AEW the plague debuff, I did it for around 20 minutes just to test it out, and with the damage I was dealing it would be a 6 to 7 hour fight where if you make a single wrong teleport or teleport a bit too late you'd be instantly killed, so I was thinking of ways to make it AFKable. Than final I got the idea to use boulder statues, since they have pretty much infinite range downwards and can be triggered with timer, I could use a timer to teleport myself too, so I did. And after a bit of fiddling I found that 3 seconds times set to teleporters that are 1000 blocks apart I can have AEW star consistently under the statues. Still the dos was ass and it was only around 1000 damage per minute against 6 million hp, it took a while and so I started the grind and streamed the start and end of it, about 15 hours worth, 10 from the start and 5 at the end, since streaming while in game dropped my fps to around 47 fps I didn't stream the entire thing because not having to wait an extra few hours because the game is running a bit slower is better.
