Thank you Adeola for all the videos over the years. I have learned a lot about the Nigerian administrative chaos listening to you. The politicians are who they are and we must accept that fact. What puzzles me is the idea that a politician is given direct access to funds and is expected to use those funds to develop his or her constituent. I'd much rather expect honey from a fly before expecting the funds to be used judiciously. This doesn't absolve the politicians but I think the real issue is the system. It makes zero sense. I'd like to be enlightened on this matter.

Wow, that still is $503,144.65 USD. Our politicans in the USA do not even make that much. He could have easily lived off maybe 300,000,000 Naira. The rest could have been used to eith pay off Nigeria debt to the chinese or into the civic intrastruction (as in repairing the roads, lights, or basic housing for the homeless, etc...). Nigeria needs to implement term limits and stop electing non-performing politicians. If they would know that there would be some serious repercussions to some of this corruption this corruption would be put to an end or at least minimalized.
