It’s nice to go to an auction, not needing a horse but having space for one if the perfect one came along. I am amazed at what these horses are bringing at auction. Yes, they seem all around balanced, they are gorgeous, and it would be difficult to not get caught up in the excitement when the ones you like come into the ring. But…that is still a LOT of money to spend on a chance, literally. You just never know and I’m with you. Good for you for having the self discipline to stop when you’ve reached your self imposed limit. (You don’t want to have another Belle experience on a $13,000+ purchase. )What a nice auction, many very lovely horses. Thanks for sharing. ❤❤❤

Thanks for taking us along. Glad to see Kyle was able to join you after he was done work. Lots of nice horses. You stuck to the price you set & didn't bid higher to get it. You didn't get emotional when it went above and you didn't get it (I remember you bidding on Naveen) so apparently it wasn't meant to be. Like you said, there are plenty of horses available and I know you'll find the right horse when the time is right.

Good practice for me. I was happy I picked up on the paddling right away, even before ou mentioned it. The pinto was my choice too. He seemed balanced from back to front, and straight in his legs. And I picked up on his not holding a canter, he seemed to want to slack off on moving forward. It just astounds me what people pay for horses now. It's been a while since I was last looking. I love going to these auctions vicariously with you as it is refreshing my knowledge and eye for horses.

Im so glad ypu went with your gut and didn't feel obligated to buy a horse "just because". I love seeing these auction videos, whether you end up buying or not. There were SO many gorgeous choices at this auction, but its okay that ypu didnt find one. You trust yourself enough to know when the exact right one comes along. Ypur heart and intuition seems to always lead you straight to the perfect choice. Soooooo looking forward to future videos and seeing which horse/horses end up joiningoin the FSE heard. I always learn something from these video as you and Kyle go through the auction site while talking about what you see with particular horses and whether y’all are interested in bidding or not. I’ve only purchased one horse in my life and I bought him from a breeder who was having a herd disbursement sale. A guy I know also bought his horse from the same breeder and I trusted Greg for referring me to a legit person. Jessie is the perfect horse for me. ❤️🐴🤠🤟

Ooooooooh that pregnant mare was such a LOOKER and an APPY FOAL? You're so much stronger than me, LOL, I wouldn't have been able to resist. But you made the right decision imo re: the two horses you were interested in, the fact that you weren't wistful/sad re: not getting them only solidifies that. The right horse is out there. And once Zasu goes home and Mushu finds his forever person, there'll be even more space for new equine family members. Wishing you all the best and I hope you'll find your dream property soon!

Hay Shay, i just love that you don't let your heart over rule your head and don't buy just for the fun of it or in a hurry, even when you have sold the others at home and have the room to buy another one, your never in any rush and it will be what it will be! i also love that your always true to yourself and you look once, then if you really like the look of something, you always go back and do all your checks with them to make sure there isn't any underlying issues that are not clear to the untainted eye! If there not for you then you walk away! Especially after everything that's gone on in the last 2 years or so with the likes of both Prince charming and bell, Prince charming cost you a hell of a lot of money to try and get to the bottom of his problems and tried get him sound again! Plus you done a lot of rehabilitation with him and went right back to the start! Plus that took a lot of your time by doing that, I remember at the time you said it cost you and kyle well over 20 thousand dollars! Yet he never did and you ended up having him put to sleep in the end because he was suffering! Plus you paid a lot for bell and it's turned out that she's got shivers, i don't mean to sound horrible when i say this, but if bell never gave you ezzy then that would of been a lot more money wasted because she will never come right! So i understand why your more caution in what you do and don't buy! But you always said it happens when you least expect it! I wish you all look in the world shay and hope you find one that is everything you wanted and more! Sending so much love ❤❤❤❤
