Lmao Chris is one of those ppl that would drive me CRAZY in real life bc they are ALWAYS right.. and think about everythingggg. lol bought that exact set about 4-6 mo ago and with in month 1 the 1 handle loosened and doesn't hold a pot enough to feel safe. Maybe holding a fried egg id say ehh.. anything heavy/ capable of burning me.. absolutely not. Tried buying extra handles a month ago and seems they don't exist.. idk why they wouldn't offer extra handles as they are considered a wear item. Very strange. Otherwise they've been good, just finally seeing scratches on the bottom and i don't use metal on them but do run them in the dishwasher. So good for the money if you have no storage. But handles may be frustrating! Wonder if i can somehow tighten that 1 handle

The best part of the pot set is not only can you cook with them over the stove ,but also put them in the oven. When your food is done you use them as a severing dish at the table and if there is any leftovers you put the other lids that it came with and store it in the fridge. These pots are simply amazing! You cook, serve and store your food all in 1 pot!

For mashed potatoes, We have always just put our cooked potatoes and milk, sour cream, butter, and whatever else in our KitchenAid bowl and used the whisk or paddle attachment and mashed them that way Or just use the hand mixer in the bowl you cook it in and add all the stuff

@blaireshoe87388 ай бұрын
@@laurenragle5228 Yes, I was just going to comment this. My mom sometimes even splits the batch after an initial mixing so she could mix the rest of it even longer for those who prefer smooth mash when she's hosting. She uses her stand mixer these days unless it's already in use. The ricer sits unused in a cupboard, it was a nice thought but she can't stand cleaning it, much like Rach's the holes always seem to keep at least one bit of potato stuck in them to be left unnoticed until the next time you want to use it 😂

Those pots do come in other colors that I’ve seen. I would highly recommend getting pot savers to put in between them to prevent scratches when they’re stacked. I got a set of 12 a while back on Amazon and they are in three different sizes. They look like gray “pop art” flowers so they easily conform to the shape of your pots or bowls. When my son moves out, I’ll get him a set of that cookware and pot liners. As for the staining, you got them to make food, not hang on the wall. On the potato ricers, they both seem fine. For someone with manual strength or dexterity issues, one design might be easier to use than the other, so they’re both probably good for the purpose. These are for home cooks, not restaurants. A restaurant is going to put the mixed potatoes through a fine mesh sieve (the name escapes me) anyway so they are super silky. I don’t know any home cook who’s going to dirty another utensil just to be like Gordon Ramsey. I’m personally intrigued by the Govee lights. Would they work under my cabinets to improve the workspace lighting in my kitchen?

The pots with removable handles have been a thing in Japan for ages, probably also other parts of Asia that are short on space. My dorm when I studied abroad came with a pot and pan with a handle like that. I actually really loved it and never had an issue with it. I also only had a single burner and was only feeding myself, so that's also something to consider, but I know Japanese families use this style as their everyday pots and pans. Also! I love my levoit air filter. It's been through a lot when I fostered rabbits and had six pet rats! They're a great product.

They’re really brilliant and they give me a great insight to what’s going on on the other side of the planet. With regard to mashed potatoes as a brick, we really love them. I have found this to be the best recipe with no gadgets. Potatoes in a pan with water just above the potatoes cut into quarters brought to the boil. Once cooked, drain, remove lid then let steam escape for about five minutes then mash with just fork, once almost done add in either a good pat of butter or one or two whole eggs depending on the amount of mash that you have. Mix it in with the fork, then beat the living daylights out of it with a wooden spoon until it is creamy and gorgeous. It gives you a truly British lovely creamy mash.
