Should have stuck with a 600, you can never ride a 1000 to it’s potential on the street. I’ve out ridden many 1000’s and 954’s on my 600RR. I started on a 600 and self taught myself and became a pretty damn good rider. Thumbs up for going with a Honda!

@@Lethal_Venom But have you ridden one? lol. I drove both, and fuck man ofc I prefer a 1000. The fit and finish is always better, you can push them harder, and if you find or live in the right area, you can find places to stretch their legs. both, the 600 and the 1k.

First bike was a Honda 50 in 1965! 36 bikes later in 2000 I sold my Suzuki Hayabusa and 1997 Honda XX Blackbird! It was time and 19 years later I still struggle missing that rush riding such powerful machines!! Now my 17 Mustang GT is filling the void!! Enjoy your new bike Zander!!

I got mine 2 years ago, went to the dealer 100 miles away from where I live, closed the deal and drove back home on a brand new 1000cc honda cbr supersport bike that I had never driven before, was smiling all the way back home, couldn't believe how much power those cbr1000rr have, power at your finger tips on demand any time, you did a great choice, I was happy driving 600cc bikes,but now I feel like I dont want to ride 600cc any more, but who knows, Plus my bike has saved me many times from landing flat on my back, steady, nimble, reliable, smooth and a beast when you want her to be😎

Why do you not have wheelie control setting on your screen? Mine shows ‘W’ as additional setting. Have you turned it off?

Yeah, the standard version does not have quick shifter and electronic suspension settings. Mine’s standard as well. But wheelie control is a standard feature on the 2017-2019 Fireblade. It’s very strange.

I brought a 2011 CBR1000RR for my very first bike after passing my test. I still have it 7 years on, never dropped it, crashed it or marked it. My brother did the same with a 2014 GSXR1000. Only crazy if you try to ride beyond your skill level.

Never understood when people buy brand new 1000cc sport bikes. Especially when you want to "be safe." If your not gonna track it all the time what's the point in buying it. Why is a 10 second car ok but a 1000cc isn’t? Also how do you figure it’s not meant for the street? They build them for the street. Not sure if you know this but 600cc sport bikes are close to being phased out.

@@WoodyRides all it takes is a slip on gravel on the freeway or an idiot pulling out in front of you and you and the bike are done with. I lost friends like that. These are strictly track bikes with quarter mile times under 10 seconds. It's a whole different beast than the stang. Financing 15k on it for street riding dosent makes sense. It's a beauty but a dumb investment
