I got a 2023 Camry TRD in November. Still waiting on my second key fob. The key fob issue is the only bad thing so far. Love the way it handles. Driving in sport mode puts a smile on my face.

Awesome car, Toyota/Lexus makes phenomenal vehicles. When I was searching for a new vehicle in 2020 I narrowed it down to a Charger 392, Chevy Impala and Toyota Avalon. Not gonna lie, I wanted the 392 but 1. they didn't have any in stock at none of the dealers I checked out, they only had Challenger wide body 392 in stock, 2. they are too expensive and didn't realize how costly they were (I didn't want a used one) and 3. if I had gotten one, it more than likely would have gotten stolen. June 12 2020, I decided on a brand new 2020 Chevy Impala Premier. I love that car and am super happy with my decision. I still have it, it's got under 13k miles on it. I did have an issue with the A/C not working when I first bought it. It took a year for me to make the time to go back and get it fixed (under warranty of course), but other than that its been fine. I didn't get the Avalon because they cost a bit more than what I was willing to pay. I got my Impala for 43k with taxes. The Avalon would have been closer to 50k.

I bought mine May of 2020, and had to get an allocation and a build, so it was ready end of August. I love it. Haven't had a single problem with it.

I really wanted the TRD, but i opted for the XSE V6 with the same color because it had much more options internally and some externally. Plus it's the same engine. If the trd had a turbo charge or super charger then maybe i would say a TRD is worth over the XSE; either way your car looks dope. Also, i put the borla black tip catback exhaust, tints, genuine fog lights from toyota and let me say that i have people rubbernecking.

TRD has better mechanical parts as well. Might not have heated seats but its a more "well put together" structure. XSE is like 5-6k more and you put another 2-4k in. Id of just bought a lexus

@@adammaynard5368 And exactly what Lexus are you referring to, the ES models which is its cousin doesn't have the appeal/sportiness for a 35 year old like myself and the IS models which is definitely something i like is much smaller/compact not to mention that the F TYPE cost much more on all trims. I am not against the TRD, it's just that when you put that Logo on a car, it should be fully loaded with perks that no other trim should have.

I just bought the 2024 Se in all black. I ordered the roof spoiler, the TRD spoiler, some carbon fiber trim pieces and red/black shift knob. I'll be adding the red pin stripe and paint the break calipers red. My advice on a car to stay away from, Buicks. I had a 2011 CXL fully loaded. Transmission went out before 90K miles, timing chain replaced before 100k, car would fall dead while driving, infotainment bugs etc.. Timing chain failed again last week at 157k miles so I sold.

Just grabbed a 2024 TRD. I believe 2024 is officially the last year of the V6 theyre all going hybrid now :/ I do love this car tho and I came from a WRX. Such a quiet ride when youre just cruising but you get that loudness when accelerating.

Dude I might get a TRD i have a 2023 Sonata N line and im having ITMS issues 12.5k miles in. I have a X Force Exhaust, Sxth Intake, Sxth Blow off Valve. Are you still enjoying the car and hows the reliability? I had a 2022 Corolla SE before my N line and did not have one issue and it was used with 20k miles on it.

I also love how the TRD Camry’s look! I thought Toyota really got the styling down right with the recent line up, and I just got a TRD a week ago, and and I love it! It’s the same color as yours because I live down south and it gets mighty hot especially in darker colored vehicles. Anyway, I wanted to know what octane of gasoline you put in your TRD. I think the manual said 87, but I’ve tread somewhere online that 91 is optimal. I also was told that it’s only needed to change the oil every 10,000 miles, but my mechanic insists that every 3,000 is optimal for longevity and definitely not to exceed 5,000 miles. Since you’re a Toyota technician and have the same car, I’d trust your judgment, if you could please respond when you have an opportunity. Thanks a lot!

I run 93 since I’m tuned for it. Before I was tuned I used 93 cause the car seemed to like it better. I change my oil every 3k. The 10k interval is so stupid. Don’t do that.

I like the trd camry, but the top speed is not strong enough unless i run premium gas in the v6. I feel the 2018 chevy impala v6 is much faster than the camry . Because the 2.5 camry goes 130 top speed and i know that because i raced a v6 challenger and another xle camry. I just wish it was a 2.0 turbo tho!!
