Good start to your project, however 1st thing the 420a is not a variant of the 4g63t they are completely different engines, 2nd thing dsms are not 3000gt or stealths, dsms are cars made at the diamond star plant in Normal Illinois USA, some mirages and some eagle summits were made in the dsm plant in the US, so technically some of them are dsms, but most people mean 1g or 2g dsm, and refer to the eclipse, talon, laser from "90-"94 1g, "95-"99 were 2g, the stealth 3kgt were all made in japan, so they are not dsms the Dodge stealth is considered a captive import, other examples of not a dsm but made by Mitsubishi in japan, yet sold by Chrysler in the USA, the ram 50 pickup, the raider suv, The dodge/plymouth colt, all are not considered dsm cars because made in Japan so captive imports are what most of the Mitsubishi japan built Chrysler cars are considered.

I'm an old DSM guy (90 Laser RS turbo FWD 5 speed, 92 Talon TSi AWD 5 speed, 97 Eclipse GS-T Spyder 5 speed) that now has an 05 PT GT convertible... 5 speed. Guess our tastes aren't too different. Enjoy your videos!

Hey man just got mine about a month the engine is a 420A made from Chrysler I didn’t know if you knew that but it’s sadly not a 4G63 but it is a 420A

The front bumper is a 2g facelift the rear bumper is a 2g pre facelift and the spoiler is a gsx spoiler I have a low eclipse spoiler with a 3rd brake light I’ll give to you!

the rear bumper is a 2gb bumper.....the spoiler is a turbo only car spoiler GSX, GST.

The GS has the Chrysler 420a motor actually, not Mitsubishi. I've had a few Mitsubishi you could say: 2g Eclipse, 3g Eclipse, 4g Eclipse, 22 Eclipse Cross, 15 Lancer, 16 Outlander, 17 Lancer...so a few Mitsu's lol.

lol except the engine is no way related to the 4g63, its a chrysler engine through and through with a chrysler transmission.........so its got no actual japanese parts in it.....sadly.....well maybe the hvac is still the japanese made units.

I have no problem finding them cheap, I paid $800 for my 97 eclipse GST that's a texas car, I've never paid over $1500 for a dsm. I never owned a nonturbo dsm until last month. Your cars engine is a chrysler engine nothing in common with a 4g63........at all...........sorry to burst the bubble.
