I wish the USDM Spec Evos came with Anti-Lag set up. Ive been debating on buying a JDM manifold with all the Valves, control solenoids, boost/ vacuum can, lines, fittings etc... It just doesnt sound right w/o it hahaha Your Evo 7 sounds & looks badass! So lucky to drive the NBR!!!

Is this your first Evo? If so, what did you drive before? and what do you like better? I've had a Legacy Wagon, Legacy GT, Impreza RS, WRX, STi & STi RA... The reason i mention this is bcuz i was all about Subaru's especially STi's for at least a decade, but once i started getting into building them, and making good power, it just started to get really REALLY expensive, and i wasn't seeing the #s that i was chasing. I had 18k+/- under the hood of my Imported 99 Ver5 STi RA.. Gist of the build: Built Block, Machined Heads, Cams, GTX30R kit, 1300cc, Wally 450Lph, and all the supporting Mods, and with all that i wasn't even making 500whp. My last Dyno session, i put down 463whp 423wtq, which are solid #s but for the cost i just wasn't happy. So back in April 2017 i sold my STi, and found a clean Evo 8. I was also looking for about 6 months like you were. I wanted to make sure that i wasn't selling my Pride n Joy and buying a busted up, broke down Evo. I've owned it now for about 9 months and have nothing but great things to say! With the Stock Evo 9 turbo, on the Stock Block and GSC S1 cams, 1000cc, Wally 255lph & 3in Exhaust, I am making 396whp 371wtq... I remember when i dyno'd my STi and made 400/390 i had about 15k into it... and for a fraction of the cost i made the same #s in the Evo with stock Turbo & Block...SMH

Ben Piper its a chargespeed splitter... Its very nice but pricey (1000€ from Japan) and i found it to be too low for the Nürburgring. I think i will get a Varis style one now, a lot cheaper to replace if i ruin it haha.

Its nothing like playing it on your xbox or playstation. The vibrations & height difference make it a TOTALLY different experience. Its always a special day when you get to drive on the Nurburgring. You should definitely do it one day!
