I have a blue C7 Stingray, it is just like yours with the 7 speed manual. I have had mine for 2 years, and you are going to love the rev. match. With a after market exhaust it sounds sweet. This is what driving a sports car is all about, you control what gear to be in on back roads. Fantastic choice on your car ! You will find the ride is also better with your car with out the Z-51 package. If you track the car just put a anti-sway bar in and it is almost as good as the Z-51. I love the color, don't change a thing!

I plan on getting a 2016 C7 Stingray in a few years when I retire... I haven't drove one yet, but been tossing around the idea of whether or not I go for the Z51 package or not.. Have you compared one with the Z51 and one w/o the Z51 ? I don't plan on tracking it, but I do want it to handle good.. Assuming the non-Z51 is a bit softer ride which makes sense with smaller wheels

Congrats on the new Vet! I'm a stick shift kinda girl so I'm over here drooling! lol... I'm sure the purchase was a good one. I use to be in car sales and understand totally that getting out of one vehicle and into another is not always as simple as people think. There are creative ways to move money around to help your monthly budget and erase some negative equity. Not everyone understands this. Credit scores can also be wild cards for financing, but a GOOD dealership will explain this to you and do their best to get the deal done. I'm glad you finally found a good dealer who treats you like you should. Congrats again!

@@evol111 Locally here in Michigan dealers haven't been able to give Corvette's away. Dealer lots are full of them. Everyone and his brother was waiting for the mid-engine. I'm a Mustang guy, never cared for Corvette's at all but I absolutely adore the mid-engine 'Vette and am planning to test drive one. Closest I will ever get to owning a Ferrari or Lamborghini. But if owning the older model makes Randy happy, I'm happy for him.

Beautiful ring!! Like the wheels on C7. Base model Corvette is a great car! Last year of a manual transmission. Might make it more desirable on the long run. You can save those extra % points by doing this. Example; instead of paying $ 400 on the 1st of the month, pay $200 on the 1st & $200 on the 15th. You are paying a 1/2 payment 2 weeks early. You do have to make 1 full payment to start so you're never late paying. To start you have to pay 1-1/2 payments. Saves around 3% over the course of a car loan. Do same on a mortgage & you save a small fortune.
