I've always wondered what these sort of coolers are like, thank you for scratching that itch for me.

I'm using it on an AMD A6-9500E which is only a 35w processor. I was planning on making a similar video to yours but you covered everything already better than I could do, lol

Wouldn't do any harm having another video out there about it. Could be useful for those who want to use it for a lower power chip than I did.

looks like the old cooler master 95W Z70 cooler. last i hear when CM moved to their "I30/50/70" fixed fan coolers, they sold the tooling for the Z series. the Z70 was intended for non-K i7's in HP's gaming range in the mid 2010's like the i7-4770.

It does look like that actually. They probably just reused that and put a cheaper fan on it.

I got the same cooler from Amazon under a rebrand

Yeah it seems to be a generic cooler under different names. It might also be a copy of an old Cooler Master one though.

@@BenchyTestsit's better cooler for retro machines upto socket 775

I have one of these, but I only use it for my LGA 775 systems. Definitely wouldn't use for a modern system 😂

Haha no 😂

probably a dumb question, but i have to ask, did you take the sticker off before you installed it? lol
