I want to watch a few professional keepers like dingo dinkleman Chandler's wildlife Tyler Nolan but I will say I watched and judged this guy a little too early because he's very very informative and sidewinders are my favorite I had no idea why they moved the way they did on the sand and I learned it from this channel I'm scared of snakes but if I was to keep venomous snakes it would be the pit viper species but I think this guy is doing everything appropriately he's got locks on his cages he don't just rip open boxes and stuff like that nowadays you can get anything shipped through Amazon that doesn't mean it's a bad thing people got to stop being so judgmental😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 I can see if he was just some kids in his mom's basement with venomous snakes and he wasn't informing us he didn't even know the genealogy of the snakes or nothing he knows their scientific names that means a lot

That boomslang is amazing. You can see what an amazing predator it must be. Not something you want to encounter hanging out a tree if you are on safari. I could watch it for hours. The eyes are so big and the way he puffs up makes him look so outworldly. This baby is death in a beautiful emerald green. I did subscribe because I like the way you interact with the animals.

How do you make sure the venomous ones don’t bite you? And what would you do if you got bitten by one of them? I don’t know much about snakes and have always wondered how you keep yourself safe
@laurynelizabeth9203 Жыл бұрын
You have to read the snake's body language. Since most of his collection is exotic snakes (not native to the U.S.), he would have to buy his own antivenin as the hospitals do not carry exotic snake antivenin. Exotic snakes are a dangerous and expensive hobby lol.
@simpled5755 Жыл бұрын
@@laurynelizabeth9203he couldn't buy his own antivenin as it's not sold to the common citizen (legally) So if he gets bit he has to hope that the hospital can find a zoo that's willing to give them their antivenin
@StonedtotheBones13 Жыл бұрын
That hook he was using at the beginning, along with the venom proof glove (acknowledge this is theoretically not great if you drop said snake on your bare feet, but you get the picture). As well as yes, knowing your individual. Edit: if you get bit, yeah you p much need antivenin, luck, and money for the antivenin. Tho your manner of painful death will vary. Also note some things (gila monsters, false water cobras, I'm p sure lil man, etc) are not fatally venomous, or not venomous... But that doesn't mean they won't hurt you :)

I got a question, what is the appeal to having very venomous (of poisonous, you get my point) snakes? Most people have ball pythons or corn snakes but i suppose you cant really pick these up easily let alone clean their enclosure without a giant hastle. For me it wouldnt be worth having a snake that you can only look at.
