Every time I hear Rockstar Rob say his voice sounds like warm honey poured over gravel I chuckle and think to myself, Rock Star Rob could’ve been a lead singer in a Hinder cover band. I get a little smile on my face when driving down the road and the song “Lips Of An Angel” by Hinder comes on the radio. The voice is spot on. Godspeed buddy. Thanks for the story! I was actually a mechanic in a shop in Dallas when it was brought in. Rob was 100% right when he said the engine gave up the ghost. Apparently, it was used at that strip club for several years without a single service and eventually spun a bearing on its way to the airport. Anyway, it was towed in, we didn't have any experience on Rolls Royces so we sent the engine to another shop to get fixed. The engine shop apparently fucked up the rebuild and their insurance managed to pay the owner back the price of the car and took the shell.
