As far as the orange peel in the paint. Alot of European and Italian super high end cars have huge orange peel for some reason. Maybe because all the owners are anal about their paint and do a 4 stage paint correction every year. 😆 and the manufacturers dont want them to run out of clear coat. Haha. Sweet Car. Chris be VERY careful if you decide to sew that seat cover back up. Airbag deployment seams use different thread than the join seams and decorative seams on the rest of the seat. There is a top and bottom stitch and on airbag seams, one of the two stitches uses a weaker thread so that the airbag can tear through it and deploy faster. Just make sure you find someone that knows what they're doing!

you can buy a bypass loop/ dummy for the SIPS airbags so the SRS light isnt on. I'm a Volvo technician and we use them for testing faulty airbags but it may be a cheaper option than replacing the airbag itself in your case (obvious safety issue though).
