Congratulations! As you know, these would be referred to as mid-sized pickups here in the US. I think they are outstanding camping and overlanding vehicles. Looking forward to hearing about your adventures and fun activities via the new rig. You may like a small motorcycle trailer to haul the bike with you and then you can experience the best of both worlds on longer trips?! Also a good practical backup in case any particular ride doesn’t work out and you need to bring the Meanstreak home on a trailer… Cheers!

The mid-size truck is the most popular vehicle in Australia. The Toyota Hilux and Ford Ranger are the biggest selling vehicles in the country by a mile. As for the bike breaking down, I have top level roadside assist which will scoop me up anywhere in the country! Sorted! I may invest in a trailer at some point.

Just wondering what it would be like if Paddy would perhaps interview a couple Aussies while adventuring and get the "Aussie on the Street" thoughts about whatever the hell. Bike comparisons, Ute comparisons, camping equipment, favorite spots. the Paddy Outback travel advisory. It would for sure be individual and interesting content available nowhere else.
