As someone in shipping trained in hazmat, yes it is a battery that needs to be declared. I even have to declare single lithium aaa batteries on their own now. With the whole phones lighting on fire issue the rules for hazmat shipping changed and unless it is shipped ground it needs to be declared ( also is declared if ground with a sticker stating do not ship air lithium battery enclosed. Both lithium ion and lithium metal are the big 2. A lot of companies aren’t doing it, and they run risks not following it. So yeah. Un 3481 lithium ion batteries contained in equipment is right.
@arthurmann5783 жыл бұрын
I heard that some overseas companies do not ship their motherboards/systems with the little lithium cells because of the strict rules in place. They just leave it up to the buyer to put one in now when they receive it and set up the BIOS themselves. Could be a real pain in the ass for newbies though, who don't understand about setting up a BIOS.

Dawid, you know we love to watch you with pre-builts, its less a question than a tease at this point

they put tire treads so you know you can run the gpu over with your car or truck and it will be fine afterwards🤣

"Look!" Epic opening... 😂 Also swap the gpus and see if the 3060 is a 2060 in disguise...
@rafe98523 жыл бұрын
Only 30 series TUF has shroud like that, 2060 TUF looks way different. Also 3060 is the same performance as 2070 so I'm sure it's just the cpu difference.

@amandagriffin64503 жыл бұрын
Yes I think it would be fun to see what the results would be if you swapped the gpu's it could have been a beast of a 2060 and a bad 3060? Maybe the cpu's are the main factor?
@aleksazunjic96723 жыл бұрын
At lower resolution faster CPU does matter, because graphics card works less for each frame. Consequently, CPU needs to "prepare" more frames per second, therefore better CPU wins. At higher resolutions GPU needs to work more, so better GPU wins.

I would love to see a Canadian pre-build. Especially since I've never seen Canadian workmanship before so this would be kinda fun to see.

The ring that is holding the m2 ssd down is not protecting any screw inside. This ring is the "screw" itself. Just insert finger into hole and pull up to release the ssd, no screwdrivers needed. Asus has this on some of their motherboards for a few years now.

The fact they didn’t replace the system with that damage is completely damning for Ali Express and Ipson.

Need to manually specify the ARGB LED count in Aura, then hold down the mode button on the button box to swap to software control.

5:57 I think you'll find that there is no retention screw - it will be a rubberized plug that goes straight into the standoff to retain the m.2 drive.

Pre builts are nice but why all them have so small tiny hard drive capacity? These days each game is like 50-150gb

I'm in Aus but whenever I've gotten stuff from Aliexpress it doesn't usually get damaged in shipping, maybe it's Canadian/North American customs doing the damage? For me it's eBay's global shipping programme out of the US that damages stuff or arbitrarily decides it's a restricted item & seizes it(I have no problem receiving the same stuff out of the US from sellers who don't use the Global Shipping Programme).

Yep. Definitely do want to see a Canadian Prebuilt Dawid. BTW .. I think you live in BC but we likely shop at the same memx chain (im here in Calgary) When you did that video on the T600 video card (a trimmed down 1650) I noticed they had the T1000 and the A4000. T1000 appears to just be a 1650super variant for more... but the A4000 (which I purchased) is a very interesting card. (they do have some in stock at all locations in your province) Might be a interesting video for you (although the buy in is 1500 cad) and who knows you may be able to utilize it for work as well. Kinda a 3070ti trimmed down power wise with 16G of memory.

That lithium battery warning sign... I guess it's just to make those transport people to avoid extremely cold or hot area. I've ordered a simple USB 2 to USB 3 adaptor for my old motherboard transplant build... the cable was 4 bucks... and they shipped it with a box size of that of PSU with the lithium ion battery sign.

Bro how much did you pay for shipping for DHL to only mildly curb stomp your package? They normally use mind as a soccer ball for their daily Mail Room vs Offices games

Dawid, the battery warning refers to the cr2032 or cr2025 coin cell bios battery on the motherboard.

Hello good sir, the purpose of the tape upon the outside of the box is to conceal its contents as there is indications on the box itself.

I'm not sure what you plugged that ARGB cable into, because that motherboard most definitely does not have an ARGB header on it. I thought there was no way it did considering my old ASUS STRIX B450-F didn't even have one, so I looked up the tech specs and yeah, no ARGB header. Not surprised it didn't show up in the software, you plugged it into some random header!

$20 for all that damage? Absurd. 1.4% partial refund! I bought a $400 hybrid bike that had a tiny scratch in the paint in an out of the way place behind the seat that was eventually covered by a saddle bag. The guy said I could either wait for a new bike, or he would put some clear sealant on it, and knock off $80, plus give me a cheap bike computer for free. I jumped at that chance. Effectively 25% off. For a much less annoying cosmetic damage.

@p0tat0es_nation642 жыл бұрын
I bought over 50+ items on aliexpress (mostly little or medium sized items) and most of them arrived within 2 weeks. Some of them took 3 weeks to arrive, and some took only 7-10 days to arrive !

Hey if you're selling any of these after testing, I live in Vancouver and looking for a new PC. I built all my previous systems since early 2000s but it doesn't make any sense to drop 2000+ for a half decent system these days.

It was all good until my pc was shutting off while playing cod wz… well not playing, in menu if i select Store my pc would die right away. Very interesting feature. Btw why dont you ever show fps in cod wz. Im always hoping to see that
