That's right, I bought another one. But it's not what you think. I just needed some parts, and buying a whole second car was the easier way for me to find these parts. I wanted full black interior for my K-swapped FD and this was the best way to do it.

The editing for this video is so good. It made the whole process feel like we were on this interior journey with Ben. The real standout talents of these guys is their editing. Many other channels and car shows have similar production value, but fall short of these guys when it comes to editing and visual story telling. A-1 premium job. Oh and the FD looks great!

I remember this exact same process, swapping out an SG Forester XT interior into my XS (and vice versa). Pop, unclip and unscrewing tons of part and panels. Carpet and headliner (especially with a s sunroof) was the most time consuming part. Kudos on the swap Ben.

The interior looks new. Great idea about using the tape to keep the plastic from making noise. I used to have a red '93 Rx-7. I actually like my '81 (which I still have), though the performance of the '93 is so much better. The K swap is one of the best ideas I've ever heard of. I love Hondas. I've always had a Civic until I had a family and bought an Element. Now with $263,000 miles on my Element, I know it was the right choice...and that any K series engine is awesome.

I found a series 2 FB in the junkyard with great condition black carpet which was awesome because I'm also converting my 1980 SA22C LS' brown interior to black as well and had a hell of a time getting it out, but instead of removing my dash which is also "required" I just cut the under dash section right through the middle and cut out my old brown carpet to pull it out. Then I just plopped the black carpet in and worked the under dash section in and that was it. You wouldn't;t know it was cut unless you went to remove the carpet yourself and am very happy with it
