I bought cheap garage tools form Lidl, are they any good?

They always have good tools in lidl to be fair. Had a few bits from there thats still going strong.

I got the creeper / seat and its spot on for the money, only complaint about it was the plastic wheels break over anything that isn't a smooth surface so upgraded the wheels and its perfect again.

I had that multi tool, it had some kind of fault after a few uses, I tried everything inside (a few repair vids on YT) but didn't work for mine. Bought a Bosch out of desperation. Has put me into the "buy cheap buy twice" mindset. Garage looks ace!

They do say to buy tools cheap then replace the ones that break with good ones since you obviously use them.

You can not beat Lidl tools, with a three year guarantee. Make copies of the receipt, and put one in each instruction booklet. If they break you need to show the receipt. Friend of mine had a drill, used it on building sites, drilling holes through block work. The motor gave up after two and a half years. Parkside replaced without even needind to see the old item.

They're ok but you do have to send off the tools for repair which takes a few weeks. I had a 3/8 ratchet that broke after a few weeks so I just stuck it on eBay once it came back from repair and bought a Milwaukee (which was nearly 3x the price to be fair). They're ok if you're on a limited budget but you do get what you pay for.

They're not. Einhell had a contract with them years ago. Generally they are made by grizzly, kompernass or by contract in a Chinese factory now
