Also dropping this here bc it's something I didn't learn until I was in my late twenties -- don't wear a white bra under a white top -- wear a roughly skin-toned bra. Not sure you have a beige bra, but a beige bra is far more versatile than a white one anyway.

So fun to see other parts of the world/cultures/ways of living (apartment living). dude!! dude!!!! Hannah, I have never been so excited by anything you've worn recently as I have been by the "weird long black vest top". the way you initially had it over the orange mini skirt - immaculate 60s mini dress vibes!! get some go go boots, your giant orange gradient earrings, and maybe a high ponytail, and you are a stylish gumdrop in the world's most vivacious candy shop!! Obviously, there might be some texture and weight differences between the materials that aren't coming across in the video, but my first impression was "wow!!". and then, you can also tuck it in, or let it rest not quite at full length but an inch or two higher, which gives it room to also hug your figure a bit more instead of just going straight down; and then at one point you had it sort of riding up on one side (and staying there because the skirt has enough grip for that), which was also very 60s l, a very geometric structured look. just, duuuude!! i feel like that's one of the most "flattering" necklines I've ever seen on you. (Air quotes because not everything needs to be flattering -- but if you *do* want to be flattered, then this top is The One. Also, I've long maintained that if you want to seem taller/more conventionally proportipnal and/or draw less attention to your boobs, as we big-chested girlies often do, the best thing to do is not to chop yourself in the middle with a high waistline, but to instead create long, smooth lines from the boobs down, like with a fitted minidress in the 60s style, or tops that go down to your hips instead of ending at the waist. they work well when tucked in too, of course, but when you want that extra oomph or elegance or groundedness of "effortless style", i think that kind of silhouette does you the same kinds of favors that wearing the right color palette does. a year or two ago i watched a video by someone realizing that their body type is basically the same as Jenna Coleman, and they basically analyzed her Doctor Who wardrobe (which they loved) to figure out what to look for in building their own wardrobe. the conclusions iirc were stiff fabrics, structured cuts, big broad areas of the same fabric but possibly with fun patterns on it. and now that I'm thinking about it, i feel like the same principles would also make you look bangin', if you wanted to explore them) as for the other things -- love the sheer purple top, having a bra show is totally up to your comfort levels, I think it looks fine, but a vest top underneath would work well too (I'm not sure what you were saying about a vest top 'cutting you off here' but i probably disagree, haha). and of course, it could be a great base to wear under dresses and dungarees in winter!! and yeah, the black "fancy staple" top is great too. and the pink one too, great additions to your wardrobe! the blue hoodie I'm surprised you don't want to wear yourself, because that is such a spring blue and such a cozy vibe, and although it's not your style for going out (although -- with a mini skirt, tights, and some chunky combat boots, it would be a total chef's kiss), it could be a really fun vibe for around the house! but obviously, your preferences are the most important edit: oh, and how could i forget the stripey faded top!! that one i also had a jaw-dropping moment with. I totally understand why you didn't keep it, because of the pattern and the fade, but i strongly urge you to keep an eye out for this kind of cut when you go shopping in the future, because it's so, so, so incredibly flattering on you!! (especially untucked!) (the scoop neckline was something i also used often as a big-chested gal back when it was a bit more easy to find. i hope this is a sign that it's coming back into style! unless the top really is just from 2008, which would explain the pattern lol)
@morehannah21 күн бұрын
I love in depth comments like this that I get on styling videos!! You'll be happy to hear I recently filmed a video with Sian (personal stylist) who also mentioned the "flattering" neck line of the black top! and perhaps I will think about dying the other one... hmmmm!!!

Something to consider, but many knit fabrics (which I assume that Primark top is) don't fray when cut. So you could just take some sharp scissors and crop it yourself and have a casual, unfinished hem. It's so interesting that so many new-with-tags items were in the bags. I would think they'd want to sell those in the store, but maybe they get way too many!

For reference the zebra top had what's called a cowl neck if that drapey style is something else you want to look for! I agree that the long boxy vest top with the orange skirt looked like you were wearing an amazing 60s mod dress 😅 I think it looked great as a top, I also have larger boobs on a smaller frame (32DD) so struggle to find tops that look the way I want - I aim for chic and look frumpy. I think that top would look great tucked into a pair of high waisted wide leg trousers (like a beige or a navy pair), maybe even a full on pair of palazzo trousers. Great in the summer for looking effortlessly chic while also being comfortable. Loved the video as always, the cosy content we ALL needed today ❤

You really come to life in the more vivid bright colours more than the muted Likewise the black and white is too cool for your spring warmth.. but yeah as others have said, dye is amazing, even a super dark chocolately warm brown? And yes, love cowl necks and big tatties, and yes that is a weight, they also put them in hems sometimes I think the jump suit is bit squate at the hips.. the waist elastic is great over your back, but the front lower isnt quite working.. also the full black is draining for spring 😊 Oooh love that jacket!!! I think the sheer purple top looks great on you with the visible bra! Also agree with other comments that the black tank top looks great and could be easy to crop :)

I love your tights. Where do you get them?
