With those tiny springs you got like 12” of suspension travel Get some limit straps. Junkyard seatbelts work great

Only old shocks worth buying are bilstein yellows. They don’t make ‘em for my 1981 vw anymore so I got them used.

I would not use a drill bit in your axle stand luckily there is not loads of weight on it use a good size bolt instead as a drill bit will snap looks ok to me I would not have it stupid low as you will have problem with cutting the tyres on the arch

Haha I was waiting for someone to bring that up, yeah stupid thing to use but I couldn’t find a bolt and the weight was on the jack most of the time anyway

@@jude6kv i didn't see the jack or I would not of said anything I seen a car fall on a friend of mine because he only had a jack under a car and it gave out broke he's shoulder and arm lucky he's head was not under it I've done a few silly things myself when I was younger and got the scar's as well for it don't take chances with any thing now
