similarly i always dug fashion but never got into shoes until last year at age 41 after my first kid and wanted a passive hobby... but the shoe that really got me into it was the Lost & Founds... grew up in the 80s and watched so much of the Bulls that it pulled me right in and been pretty into shoes since early when. It helps that i finally have an income that doesnt make me feel guilty about spending.

Honestly I will be getting the leather pair of the bred 4s, and I still have the OG 2019 pair which I think is way better. I live in Tennessee where we get snow and A LOT of unexpected rain so the leather pair will be durable and I can wear them often. Bred 4s are my favorite Jordans. I’m not mad they changed it up with leather!

I just ordered an early pair off goat it should arrive on Friday February 2nd having it 15 days early should be cool and it’s a first for me. I didn’t mind paying over retail because I never get lucky on the drops anyways lol. I doubt they will brick but if there is some sitting on release date I’ll try to get another pair just to double up.

i have no issue with the materials but mostly black shoes are just not versatile or for every fit. I will go for em but honestly if they dont work for me on foot I am doing a return. I can see them sellout due to resale but i dont see this being as desirable in a broader sense like the SB4s or the Lost and Founds- those are for really everyones styles and taste. I think sneakerheads saying everyone loves the colorway aren't able to see outside their demo.

If you have normal width foot - not narrow or wide - 11.5 will fit real snug because 4’s have a tight toe box. Go 12-12.5 if you want a little room.
