Also want to pay attention to cylinder head bolt placement. Use a piece of cardboard and put the bolts through it in the place they are on the engine so you put them back in the same spot. Most are the same length but by the exhaust they are longer.

Yes sir, I even love most of their new stuff. People really take them for granted bc the motors are on almost everything. The only other brand I put up next to them is the Kawa Commercial Mower engines. I've seen some crappy Kohler's, Tecumseh's are generally the worst. These 3 and 5hp engine feel awesome though. Love the I/C series as well, a lot quieter/smoother

@@sillygoosesmallengines1994 you're right, the Honda motors are awesome. Sometimes find it harder to find parts, not too bad on most of their stuff though. I finished up a real nice F501 Tiller for a buddy. He managed to mess up the threads for the plug. There was only one head on ebay that we could find. Luckily when he cross threaded the plug it was far enough in that he still had good compression.

I pick up old mini bikes and karts that have been sitting outside for a few bucks, fix them and sell them. I also restore old garden tractors from the 60s and 70s. I cringed when you used the claw on the hammer! It's not a straight upward pull, easy to bend the stem. WD-40 has it's uses (yes I use it), but for heavily rusted/STUCK parts/valves, I have had MUCH better results using 'KANO Aerokroil' or Freeall and some heat from a heat gun on high or a propane torch.. Anyhow..... GREAT channel! Cool little kart!

Removing the head wasn't necessary. After soaking the cylinder for a few hours in wd40, light taps with a wooden dowel through the spark plug hole, then remove the starter housing and gently turn back and forward in small increments with a ratchet till it frees up. Valve could have been freed up with a soaking of carb cleaner through the intake port and keeper.

I use to buy the little carts and move the seat back and put 5 hp on them. It needs a new diaphragm in the carb so it can pump gas and cleaned. My wife was embarrassed when I rode them LOL All the kids in the family loved my carts. They will run about 35 mph or sometimes close to forty. They are fun to ride even all my cousins rode my carts with me no denning how much fun they are.
