As someone who has bred and raised nemo-candy plakats, this video is really entertaining

Oh and you should NEVER give them food during breeding period. They can go up to 1 month without illness, and 3 month without food till they die. Giving them food distracts them from mating, which is all they should be focused on. That may be why the first time didn’t work. He was sort of, overly tiring out his brain, and flairing that much also causes stress, which explains the lethargy ❤

@@Fishly-bj6wd Thank youu!! I'll make sure to check them out! and do you recommend feeding those to baby bettas? (3 months)
@Fishly-bj6wd7 ай бұрын
@@p1xel196 You are wellcome! Actually, Nobo was a 5-month-old betta when I got him, so I think it's fine to feed them these pellets as long as they can swallow them without any pressure. Brine shrimp is also a good food to give to a 3-month-old betta

Like yours, mine stopped eating for a week and looked sickly. Then he began to eat again like nothing had happened.

@@Fishly-bj6wd is he doing well? I’ve had two betta’s that had their stomach swell up and then they passed away. Was it a tumor you think? Makes me sad, thinking of trying again.
@Fishly-bj6wd7 ай бұрын
@@bile897 Oh no that's very sad😭I think your bettas had dropsy. It's likely due to poor water quality, overfeeding, or the fish had been already sick when you bought them.
