I'm a C5 Corvette guy; I am waaaaayyyyy in the same boat of loose ground wires with you, friend. Hope I get to meet you some day, you seem like a super solid dude.

Yeah, any modern car with a can bus can really get shitty when grounds are no good. It sucks. Happened to Meg's Mini when we first bought it. The car claimed all sorts of crazy errors and wouldn't even start! Towed it to the dealership since it was under warranty, and they found a loose ground. Nuts!

If you haven't done the front spoilers yet it is 100% a front bumper removal job which also includes removing the front trunk liner. Nothing difficult but a LOT of process to do. Just an FYI

After I had the F355 engine rebuilt, we could not get the engine started. It would only run on one bank. The mechanic took two full days checking everything, from map sensors for crank sensors, computers etc. I told him could it be a ground since these cars are very sensitive to bad grounds. He swore, he checked all the grounds and it could not be that. I told him to check the ground that goes to the head and very hard to see. He retightened the ground and the car started right up. Grounds on Ferraris are crucial
@normalguysupercar2 жыл бұрын
Yup! That's what happened to us on Tim's 348.
