I once saw Mark Weins or Trevor, forget who it was, eat pork from a whole pig that was roasted for 30 minutes. It was wrapped in something I forget but it was fully cooked and tender that it blew his mind. I believe it was in China. It's not the same thing as smoked but with the right modifications, you never know what is possible.

Looks Delicious! Hey guys! I am new to the world of BBQ grilling with hot coals. I have always wondered about the risk of toxic gases getting released during the burn onto the meat and food prepared, esp., lead and other carcinogenic pollutants. Kindly shed some light on this as I am very anxious about health hazards. Thank you. You earned a new subscriber.

@Bryan461624 жыл бұрын
Probably Heresy around these parts, but you can make pulled pork way faster by using a pressure cooker. Super juicy and the flavour penetrates all the way through to the center as it's forced in by the steam. You could cook that much pork in under an hour. A few drops of liquid smoke completes the flavor profile.

7:05 you very rightfully question the traditional way pulledpork is served. I never understood why they bury it in coleslaw and then put some dominant BBQ-sauce on top. There must be some pulledpork dish that does more justice to the taste of the meat itself! I know just the guy to come up with one... :)
@arjandegraaff4 жыл бұрын
You don't realy need the bbq sauce. But you need the coleslaw to balance out the fat and smoke flavor.

Looks Amazing as always. I see you have a new Fridge behind you. I also love the new style videos with Morrison and you doing a dialog back and forth. I have a request. I' will be 40 on July 24th and would like to see if you could do a video with just party food. Such as, sausage split and rolled up with bacon, jalapenos stuffed with cheese and bacon wrapped, my favorite... cubed steak that has been rolled around cream cheese with cut up jalapenos and wrapped in bacon, and last something I made up called Mediterranean pork bites, which is a sliced pork tenderloin (about 1 and a half inches thick) wrapped in a slice of thick cut bacon, and seasoned with Mediterranean style spices. All of these can be made ahead of time, and as few or many as needed for a party. I know its a lot to ask, but it sure would make a follower really happy to see your twist on these types of "fun party foods"

I bought one for $300 and it eventually rusted on me. I had to keep sanding it with my grinder and repainting it with black fireproof paint but that still didn't prevent it from rusting so I made my own out of cinder blocks. No more rusting and you can make it as big or small as you want. You can grill and smoke whatever, whenever. I've smoked pork, lamb, beef, rabbit, chicken, and fish with excellent results.
