The Rattler is a good deal, but the NVG-40 is hella overpriced especially given it's foreign made and not even American. Especially since Jet has a 3D printer, he could have also printed a housing with chinese optics for the same image quality but sub $1,500 per complete pod and bridge that with a panobridge which would also give greater FOV.

@@slappomatthew Agreed. the NVG40 is Ukrainian bs. I did buy two of them back when they were sub 2k though. But I pulled out the tubes and 3D printed a quad housing. The tubes are Elbit so you can't go wrong.

If they were made in the USA there would be a MADE IN THE USA decal on all the products. I know for a fact their housings are made in Ukraine and their tubes come from Elbit because I was in communications with them for a big order to a militia group at the southern border. Many of their accessories I can also identify as being from China, for example their NVD mounting hardware with the exception of the rattler rail mounts.

I also have a VFC clone high speed Cyma aks74u with 100,000 rounds through it right now, only had to replace the motor because it burnt out. Granted I run my guns at roughly 1.1J so they’re not high stress. But if you buy a Cyma ak good chance you’ll get at least 5 years out of it.

One difference I find between your game and milsim here in Europe (France and Spain mainly) you must use mid cap magazine and more often than not you will carry limited munition (about 500bbs per rifleman and 1500 support)

In the US, well at least milsims Ive played in, only mid and low cap is allowed for everyone but saw gunners. I’ve never seen a ammo cap though, you can bring as much as you’re willing to carry. I usually have 8-10 mags on me with spares in my assault pack with my speedloaders.

@@_barskii Get big quick? Clickbait, but that isn't exactly moral and will fall through. The KZbin Algorithm is horrible, and right now, the best option right now for getting big quick is probably shorts format content (I.E quick clips from gameplay). Then upload longer format gameplay to the Channel and then just link to it from the short. Only other way is just keep uploading, that's one of the only reasons why the modern giants got so big. You'll probably have to start with emulating current creators like Alfonse, Jett, Silo, etc. then slowly branch off into your own style.

Just this Saturday I attended a big event. My brand new RPK16 drum magazine got messed up, then I switched to mid caps and after a while the gun itself stopped. I switched to my AK but as you said it simply happens. 😂

For the Taginn use only HPA 40mm shells. Me and my team used it a lot and its the best! You will nedd to carry one small hpa tank with you instead of all these co2 cartriges. + its range is the best and can reach 160+ meters 4:14

I’ve always run thermal as an option since it makes everything so much easier. I bought a thermal optic to mount to my helmet for night time operations. Out of curiosity does the gun reset the timer if you change safety position or does that not matter? I’m curious if you kept it on fire the whole time and it shuts off. It a stupid feature either way but I was just wondering.

For the CO2 fill, i got a co2 paintball tank plus madbull fill needle and fill it from a big tank with a two stage valve. That turns out relatively cheaper long term but may be a bit too steep for one event and the bottle might be too big for your bag.

It's funny, my gun has a lovely mosfet as well, with the fun feature of deciding at seemingly random intervals to turn itself into programming mode, so I both can't shoot and get a surprise as to what changed when I either re-plug it in or it turns off on its own, eventually. Best part is the board is no longer on their website, that would just be to easy

Unfortunately the Cyma Platinum gearboxes are known to have faulty mosfets, but thankfully your mosfet didn't just completely die like mine and others did after very little use. For anyone looking at this style of replica, I recommend the Specna EDGE series version, it has a GATE X-ASR and is slightly cheaper, while also being better on the inside. Also please don't use Li-ion batteries with a brushed motor. It will work, but your motor will not be getting the power it needs and the performance of the motor will suffer because of it. Not to mention you're constantly pushing the battery to it's maximum 100% load due to the demand of the brushed motor. It makes a little bit more sense to bring one to a Milsim seeing as the games are so long and the bigger mAh is nice, but you could also just bring another LiPo or two instead.

LI-ION batteries are all around better. They have more power in the same amount of space and they are less volatile than LI-POs. The only downside is they have to have a bulkier shape, which limits your options for where the battery can be set.

The NVG40 has different grades of tubes in the same housing. I think there are like three different Gen 3 options. If you are a spec sheet snob, the price hike is reasonable for the selection of tubes you get. Although that said, I wouldn't buy any of the NVG40s given you can often get American made night vision at the same price or just a few hundred dollars more.
