What I like about this channel is that you use safety equipment to protect yourself. Nice build too.

Nice table! It reminds me of the serving tables in the dorm cafeteria when I was in college.

I need something like this to use my pastels just not so big as this. Thank you for the video.

... and when you're not using it as a downdraft table, it makes an excellent salad bar.

Cool build! Side note: Check your 2 Pferd links in the description, it appears that they go to the Magna Matic Metal Dust Collector.

Definitely help with those cutoff blades, they really disintegrate.

rivet nuts might work good and keep a clean look, not sure if you have tried them or not?

Great video! What saw blade are you using on the Milwaukee circular saw?

On one of your other builds, I think you used 20 gauge aluminum for the downdraft pyramid for the plasma cutter. And I think here you’re using 16 gauge. Any reason for upping the thickness? Does your 20 gauge plasma downdraft still work ok?
@MakeEverything14 сағат бұрын
I went with 16ga here to make it a little heavier duty. Also welding a 16ga edge like this is much easier than a 20ga edge. The 20ga edge on the plasma down draft table is still holding up well, I actually added HVAC tape to the outside of that 20ga pyramid to keep any errant sparks from escaping and so far so good!

appreciate the video but thats a project i wont rebuild, the glass will be soon like blasted and milky, the stuff im grinding will not fit in the housing, and still need to wear a mask with filter when grinding so this is not a project for my needs

Would be nice to 3D print a dimple die and dimple all the holes for strength. it also kinda looks like you could make a sandwich in there.

How did the cost of this end up comparing to commercially available units? It seems crazy overbuilt, but I’m on board with that 😄

Would you consider doing this to your welding table?

Man you never hold your work down so everything is always wandering around while you work on it lol. The frame walking up the drill, the sheet metal moving around while you cut it, the downdraft walking around while you chisel the flange- they make clamps dude lol

You can criticize any video of anyone doing anything. I think it’s safe to assume there is always a difference in how people do things depending on who it’s for, am I getting paid and how much time do I have.
