Yeah, Raytheon can make some pretty scary stuff. Basically government privileges without the government oversight...like the Federal Reserve. And people think it's crazy when people said it's possible that the fires in Hawaii could have been started by a Directed Energy Weapon. I can’t describe how happy I am that content like this exists for kids today. I was in high school when a teacher of mine inspired me to pursue a future in STEM. You are introducing kids to complex ideas at a young age, and likely will never be able to quantify the impact you have on your viewers. But I’m sure it’s significant. If you’ve driven a dozen kids to pursue fields they otherwise would not have, it is so worth it.

Can I just say, it is intensely gratifying to know that, somewhere, out in the wilds of the North American continent, there is a mad scientist doing all the things I dreamed of doing as a kid, but never had the chance to do. It is so important for a world to contain eccentric, affable people who have the potential to end worlds, but just don't. It brings a sense of wonder and urgency to life, knowing that at any moment, someone like you might giggle maniacally, and accidentally bore a hole clear through the Earth, or accidentally cut the Moon in half with a misfire from something they threw together as proof of concept. Go you!

When I saw that I had to replay it to make sure I saw that right, then I immediately scrolled to the comments. Holy crap that cat either LOVES to be pet or it must have been trained or something. Idk, that blew me away almost as much as the laser.

Drake is like photonicinduction and the nuclear boy scout had a kid, but somehow he turned out sane. The thing I immediately thought of when he said that was, if this is what any idiot can buy online, how scary of a laser does the military have?

Ya, the US military is spending billions on a laser gun research, while this guy built one for a couple of thousand bucks. heh This will definitely take down drones from the sky.

Seriously, you are a very rare specimen. The matter of fact-ness, quirky humor and superlative knowledge of physics, chemistry, etc. is quite impressive. I'm hooked just after watching you toy w. this laser. Keep up the awesomeness and always be mindful of safety in your surroundings.

Add some wires tied to the bases of nearby trees and the tower won't shake anymore. Use turn shackles to tighten the wires little by little. In general, you only need about 3 cm of tension on a braided steel wire of 4mm for something like that to make it super stable.
