I built a WORKING WINDMILL in Minecraft Create Mod

I NEED FOOD! So it's time to delve into Farmer's delight, construct myself some automated crop farms with create mechanical harvesters and a great big create mod windmill, attached to the side of a cosy farmhouse kitchen! Pickles even got a home! Briefly... :/

Mr Beardstone you’re killin’ me. You can remove the solid blocks behind the harvesters after you place them, so if you place the harvesters in line with the bearing they cover a much more precise range.

The reason for the black particle that occurs when breaking blocks as in 12:51 is the oculus mod. If you remove the oculus mod while not using shaders, this bug will disappear.

Pickles- he just started living his best life- he had a nice home, a loving owner. All at the hands of a elephant. May he rest in piece. Also that elephant must have gotten word you tied up one of their friends that the wandering trader stole. Love the farm, don’t see very many creators make them for actual use. Most are just decorative fields. Looking forward to the next episode!

I think some furniture-esque mods would look great in the style of these builds and the modpack in general. Stuff like MrCrayfish's, Supplementaries, and I think even Macaw has something? I believe there is also a Create styled Deco mod if you didn't have that for the various factories. Loving the series Beard!

maybe someone already said that but 7:12 you don't need to glue sails between themselfs, because they're already sticky. All you needed is just glue fences to iron and to the bearing itself 7:28 also it looks like it would be more logic to change the direction of rotation

Rest in peace pickles, also Mr Beardstone if you ever want to start farming rice from the farmer's delight mod you can find it in shallow water in jungles and swamps, it needs to be planted in shallow water though

I love the series so far and seeing the create mod in something other than a 100 days series is refreshing. As for the rain if you are spending a large amount of time in your world with out sleeping it can cause rain to be more common.

Just a bit of info, you dont have to glue the sails together. As long as whatever block they are attached to is glued to the windmill bearing, they'll move all together.

I really enjoy this series. I am currently playing with an selfmade modpack centered around create with a friend of mine. A small Tipp. Windmill sails dont have to be glued together as long as the first sail is connected to a block that is connected to the windmill bearing. Keep it going.

18:55 Yes when it stops it will place it, HOWEVER(unless this was changed some point after 1.16) it does not technically stop when it transfers items between the two Portable Storage Interfaces; It remains as a contraption/entity/whatever, and the blocks don't get placed. Doesn't hurt to make sure though, I suppose!

you should make another river source behind the windmill going through your fields and down the lower plain connecting back to the other river, and you can make little bridges going over it for the paths. if you pause at 16:24, the river should come from the left of the windmill, down the fields and on the side of your path along your factory

If you use a knife I grass you also get straw, it's a great early game method to get canvas for books. Also with the way your sails are pointing it makes me feel like your windmill is flowing in the wrong direction (you can change the direction on the windmill bearing)

Heyy I love this series Little tip tho: you can automate your iron farm even more, because if you smash the iron nuggets, you'll get iron ingots :) no more converting

I think you should be able to place some of your stovetops from the back to face them the other direction. I don’t know if baskets can accept from multiple stovetops, but it should allow you to add more pots and pans if they can.

Turns out it's the direction of the pot/pan that decides where stuf flies out, so I can put pots on backwards to make them fire left

tip about windmills, sails automatically "link together", so i'm pretty sure you could have just glued the center iron, the fences, and the first sails and it would have worked. i know for a fact if you stick an array of sails to a sticky rotational bearing it works.
