I built my first STEAM TRAIN in Minecraft Create Mod

It's finally time! We embark on building our first steam train, but in order to make a create mod train, we need a couple of new machines to automate train casings and train track, cook up a storm in the kitchen with farmers delight and, of course, get a new horse!

A fun idea for train drivers: trap one of the crossbow pillagers somewhere and let them use up all the durability on their crossbow shooting at either you or a snowman or whatever. Once their weapon breaks they become passive/harmless. Pop your growling new engineer on the train seat, give him a schedule (and fancy hat) and let your new criminal rehabilitation program flourish!

I'm loving to see how the village is going so far! BTW a little tip: honey in liquid form generates limestone in contact with lava, the same way water does with cobblestone. Same thing with chocolate, which generates scoria.

What a fun episode that we all have been anticipating. Mighti suggest making one or more tool boxes that can hold multiple components and that you can toggle to use. One for train building, one for machine building, etc… I really enjoyed the combination of parts used to create the train. I can tell that you really studied different trains to make it realistic. For the horse I think the name ‘Chips’ would be neat, kind of fits with the theme of Pickles being a snack. For the train I think the name ‘Pioneer’ would work great because it’s your first train and sort of pioneering your start to a locomotive empire

If you right-click pipes with the wrench, you can give them windows to see if there is flow inside. If you do the same on Pumps, they will change direction. Also, at least in the versions of create I played, you can insta mine every create block (even casings) by left-clicking with the wrench. Btw, I just recently found your channel, binge watched this series and I have to say I absolutely love your play and video making style!

Few tips: -You can collect every create block by shift-right-clicking it with wrench. Especially useful when u create a lot of casing manually and you want to collect them. Also it collects items directly into your inventory which is helpful when working around belts as items don't fall onto them. -Second tip is a bit more specific but you could have used it in today's build. After you encase pipe with copper casing directions which pipe connects stays the same. It lets you have 2 different pipelines in 2 adjacent lines. So o to make your build simpler you could have: 1.place cauldrons 2.place pipes underneath 3.encase them 4.and now place pipe connecting tank with spout without worrying about pipes connecting with each other messing up the flow. -You can use actual seats from create instead of slabs at your train stations to have working bench :D Great vid btw can't wait for more

You can use copper casings to lock the connections for a pipe! Perfect for situations like the one in this episode where you want compact pipes but you don’t want them all to touch

Great episode! And I want to suggest that you should make a trading station near the village, and make a train station next to it. Also make a cargo train that would do deliveries to the trading centre/station which would have some trading goodies on it. And make a passenger train for the fun of it (if you want)!

My favorite foods to make from Farmers Delight has to be the stuffed pumpkin. You pull the pumpkin out, place it on the floor and scoop it with a bowl, each pumpkin gives four bowls. Refills a crazy amount of hunger per bowl and gives the, I think, nourishment buff. It is basically like saturation but healing will chew through your hunger like normal

You could name your new horse Ablette after Geralte's horse in The Witcher. You can also make a complete block on pipes with copper casings. and to make life easier while you're building, you could make an extando grip to increase the reatch.

@ 21:21 using the create: steam and rails mod if you hold down the alt key while holding the train casing you can adjust the bogey style with the mod adding a whole ton of different styles.

I've seen some great Trains being done with just create and framed blocked. The Japanese train is one of my favourite designs for using the framed Block Mod but I also love the steam engines the American steam engines. My favourite train ever, is the Millard
