Buy yourself a tower fan and stick it in front of your rig so you have constand cool air when driving, it's an absolute must for me! I know you get fancy fans which are sent signals from the game to increase or decrease the airflow depending on the speed you're driving, which would be awesome! But, a standard tower fan is great and especially in an open wheeler where your head would be exposed ( minus the helmet ) lol, but that looks great! An Ultrawide would be my next BIG purchase... but a tower fan won't break the bank haha! ✌

Nice vid and rig! I would suggest a buttkicker, 49in ultrawide screen, and trackir to go up a notch in immersion. Lastly, psvr or quest 3 vr would be great additions!

@@buzzin-hornet hi, glad you asked lol ill be brief about it and say its been worth it for me. I use it regularly and found the native default settings for the racing profile perfectly fine. So pretty user friendly. Majority of the titles I play support it. I would say the $200 is worth it (give or take).

@@buzzin-hornet on the contrary, I don't do anything out of the normal. Its very flexible in terms of movement. I have a 4060 for reference and there's no lag for me. You can adjust the sensitivity of the head movements and i like to lock it to the horizontal so it avoids a lot of unnecessary movement or jitterness.

Bro F1 games have always felt arcade-ish for my taste so I’d say don’t miss out on iracing assetto etc I personally use assetto for f1, Le Mans ultimate for wec and rbr for wrc purposes

awesome rig, I’d suggest looking into vr, triple screen, or at least a curved ultra wide to really dial in that last bit of immersion also I’d recommend trying assetto corsa as imo they have some of the best physics and is really enjoyable sim, which goes along well with a dedicated rig of this nature

@@JorgePowell great content. but going into 'competition-use' sim rig is a whole different world. not just inside the competition, also you need the discord setup to communicate with your team mate, so you will need to the mic holder arm extending from your PC, if you don't want the live-streaming app to affect your performance in the Race, you will need another PC to gather all the live feed and go live on all your social media account that might cost you 5 GB of memory each account plus upload speed bandwidth. you have 2 times more wires to manage around the rigs.

The rig alone is about $3K+, that doesn't include the wheel, pedals, and monitor so probably $5-8K total I'm guessing. It's a nice product advertisement but I think its a little disingenuous to claim its his honest opinion when he was probably sent most if not all of it for free or to say he decided to build an upgraded rig. There are lots of youtuber's who actually build their own rigs, he had a company basically send him a very expensive prebuilt setup to make videos about.

Hey guys, Im looking to get into sim racing but only have a ps5. Is input lag noticeable even with a fanatec eco system on ps5’s? And are there sims available to ps5?

Gran Turismo 7 and World of Outlaws are the best options on PS5. You won't notice input lag. GT DD Pro has known issues with the FFB disconnecting (due to USB-C slippage in the wheel shaft) -- so I'd personally aim for something a little better, like an entry level Simagic + Ras1ution 2 converter.
