I bought my first board from the shop in St Clair shores in 2009. The shop smelt like cigarettes I’ll never forgot.

You’re entitled to your wrong opinion. The technology that goes into numeric sk8 shoes is far more advanced than vans.

Tgm, core, and amphetamine actually have parts on some baker and zero completes. I also think core trucks also come on some dgk boards but I'm not 100% sure on that

Most of the posers who push regular and mean it is the only right way to push cannot push mongo the right way. That is the problem. If you push mongo it is important to place the backfoot closer to the center and not so far back as these idiots do. And then you have the same amount of advantages and disadvantages as the other way round. So, it does absolutely not matter which way you push or what any idiot says. Or do you have more advantages if you ride goofy than regular? It is absolutely nonsense.😅PS: A sixth point: Riding over cracks, stones etc. on the ground is mongo ways easier because you have your foot and weight not so close on the front truck (worst for getting stuck). It is just physics. The same principle counts also when you run to your board to gain highspeed. The closer you place your foot to the center, the more stable stays your board from the shock while stepping in the board. So the real "Mongo" is the person that invented the idiotic term "mongo pushing".😉

Everyone is free to make their own choices but strong recommend wear a helmet kids. They reckon it only takes 3 concussions to have permanent damage, and obviously one particularly bad hit can end fatally if very unlucky. Hope you recovered quickly my dude.

Good that you are explaining it. It is confusing to old farts like me coz in modern times we have video part pros and as we all know that now Lil Wayne is now a pro. My favorite pro skater is Garrett Ginner but that because I have invested a lot of time watching his KZbin videos and I think he is kinda sexy LOL. In an actual contest, I do NOT think Garrett could beat a pro like Curren Caples. But anyway, just my two cents. Great video!!!

I was super hyped for the Tiagos and I bought both of the models and I broke my ankle, in each pair... 1, the board feel is non-existent and 2, the grip on the soles, wears away so quickly and then one day, you find yourself, slipping off your board, when your griptape still has plenty of life left in it. I've also had quality control issues with those shoes with the soles coming "unglued" well before the toebox was all ripped up. You would think that for $100+ dollars, some of that "technology" could actually be practical or make the shoes be better constructed. Nope. Not the case. I've typically had good luck with New Balance Numeric and have skated plenty of pairs of the Brandon Westgate model(s), some of the Jamie Foys and even the 440 highs and the hightop before the 440 (idr what number it was, they phased it out and replaced it with the 440). I've lost the "hype" for NB# and don't skate them, anymore...After the last time I broke my ankle in the Tiagos, I actually can't skate much, anymore...unfortunately.

I’m an aircraft mechanic ,put all the parts they give you. They are there for a reason. Not all wheels inside DEPTHS are the same. Hence why you put in the the SPACER bushings. YES you can ride em loose enough so they will roll and they will sound louder and if that doesn’t bother you than ROLL with it. That being said all company’s that make skateboards are not conversating with each other. I’ve found that you can put 300 bearings into a company like SPITFIRE OR BONES and I’ve measured the DEPTHS and they have been pretty damn consistent down to 100,s of an In. That’s good but not extremely good. I’ve tried a pair of REDS 20 bucks and they roll amazing after break in. My last thoughts on this is that you can have 1000$ bearings but have a poorly made wheels ( don’t forgot wheels get poured so if the master DIE for a wheel is slightly off in the space between the bearings. The SPACE that stops your bearings rings from going deeper or pinching as I call it ) Or off slightly due to them waxing the inside with mold release or whatever they use it will cause a problem with your trucks. Do yourself a favor next time you put your bearings in put the spacer in there put the wheel on crank it down and then take it off put it between your thumb and fore finger and spinning. It’s spins without any vibration or wobble. You are good but it might experience one out of four or not or either not pushed in all the way or there’s a defect in the spacer that the wheel provides (urethane spacer ) . So to conclude putting on your spacer is a good idea. It will help break in your wheel bearing faster and you know 100% if your bearing is seated correctly or if the wheel is slightly off. I have also noticed cracks in my spitfire wheels after I put them in, but that’s a subject for another day .. Use your washers guys. Use all the hardware. This isnt just an (AIRCRAFT MECHANIC A&P AMT ) talking I’m a 51 year old skater who still skates . ( not like I used too 😂) but I’ve been a seen every trick fad and tried almost every product out there. From the late 70,$ to the early 2000,$ and I’m still at it. I know it’s not considered HESH BUT WHO F…..N! Cares ! Go your own route don’t be a follower.shiiii I use pads cause at my age a rock n roll could send me to the ER if I fall and I have fallen hard in my 50,$ thankfully my pads keep me in the game and having fun . That’s what skating is about fun ! ART ,MUSIC FREAKING GNAR ! ,AND YEA ITS PAID IN BLOOD but it’s worth every drop. That’s all I got thems my 2 cents for what it’s worth now go skate ! Hardware or not ! Ceramic or 10 $ steel bearings who gives a F ! As long as you roll good. F em if they can’t take a joke! 😂 Peace out dudes n dudets!

I grew up in Denver, CO. I lived in Breckenridge for a year or so while working at the resort. I loved it there, but unfortunately, it wasn't a very friendly place. I blame the copious amounts of money.. snowboard culture meets skateboarding culture and has nothing in common aside from shredding.. snowboarding is exclusive of the majority who can't afford it, so humility and acceptance of others go out the window. Recently, I moved to Vancouver, WA. The skate culture here is dope! The parks here really cater to speed and flow. It's been really fun. Make a trip!

I dont even know what i do lol. Im mongo switch i guess lol. I set up goofy and my strong stance is goofy but when I started and got strong at skating i push with my left(back) foot up on the front bolts of the board and push with my right (front kick/heal flip foot). And then turn my body back to the left to set up goofy for my trick. Im just leaned now after 14 years stopping skating and getting the bug and starting back up its taking me too long to set up and forcing myself to learn to push left footed and have my front foot staying on the board. Its odd for sure but thats how i skated for 10+ years sponsored by rhode island skate park and shops . And now starting back up trying to force myself to push "correctly" is a challenge lol soooo humbling 😂. Lol
