I Can Stop You Filming | Royal Mail Audit

Today I visit the main Royal Mail sorting office in Stockport.
It was early afternoon, so the morning busyness had long finished. I may have to return to see the place with lots of posties leaving to do their rounds.
I also had a look at a large yard full of brand new VW cars. No signage to indicate which company operates it, but there is a main VW dealer nearby who likely belongs to.
Drone video music had to be removed, apologies for the silent flight.

Im a RM driver, personally, I'd have no problem with being filmed. In well aware on the law on public filming and photography. We're filmed every day with people's dash cams and cctv.

Manager expressed serious concern that "confidential equipment" could be visible from off the property. He should've came back outside to thank you, drone footage verified the building does have a roof and the walls are brick so "confidential equipment" is not visible from outside.

I used to work next to a royal mail sorting depot. One of their managers got his head kicked in after he poked his finger in the face of our driver who dropped some pallets next to an adjoining fence. Never seen anything so funny in my life. 🤣🤣

I always wonder about these huge lots with so many new cars. I honestly believe they are parked there and then then the car sales reps say there's a long wait and makes it appear as if there is a shortage of cars and you should pay more. Seems very sketchy. There have been a few over the past couple of years. One doesn't do auditing but posts blog type vids. Another one crashed and burned because she believed all the myths (sect 33, public access etc.) and got physically removed from a private shopping mall. I think it put her off.

@@robertwright7937 There aren't actually that many proper auditors in the UK. A great number of them don't understand the whole basis of auditing. They might call themselves auditors, but to go out with the intent to annoy, disrupt and intimidate people, or trespass on private property,....is not auditing. This young lady sounds a bit promising though. I just hope she doesn't pick up bad habits like talking about section 33, public access, and implied rights. Time will tell.

Good starting video, you will gain more confidence as time goes on. Practice more with your Mini 2/3. There are settings on the drone, that make your movements more fluid, especially on the gimbal. look on youtube for more advice on setting up your camera. I fly a mini 2 myself, I used to fly around open land to refine the settings to make everything look more fluid, even now I still put the camera up instead of down sometimes and spoil the shot, but soon edited out. I look forward to more content.

this goes higher up than UK law,,,,, ECHR European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms ECHR) is a European treaty in which the human and civil rights of all residents of the member countries are laid down (article 10). allows filming in the public sector, even public in and government buildings , everything you can see from public (even into private buildings and sites) you can photo and record it since November 4, 1950, Google Earth (with zoom options) Google Maps (with zoom options)) EasyJet (they recording their whole flights since june 2020) Google Street View (with zoom options) DRONES , hundred cars with a dash cam recording them every day by this ECHR law

Just to let you know Stockport fencing own the road behind the sorting office and when it was a mail centre they used to block the road with concrete blocks because they got fed up with RM staff parking all over the place. Notice they park their truck on the private road!!!! Royal mail has no rights to that road and are only allowed to use it. 👍
