Humans are complicated. It's sad, but there are a lot of people who couldn't be comforted in the situation he was in. Playing armchair psychologist here, but, prior to the accident, he may have felt like a provider and capable between them. Her having to take care of him likely changed their relationship dynamic. Some dudes just want to feel like they have power in their relationship, and he probably felt stripped of it with her and sought a woman he could establish that relationship with again. Absolutely nobody deserves to be cheated on, though.

The first exchange is so wild to me and really underscores how there are a lot of people, especially women it seems in my experience, who will be fully aware that their boy toy is cheating on a long term partner or spouse and be ok with it because they don't feel they have an obligation to that relationship. Which is just...selfish deranged garbage person thinking. But I can't help but feeling thats where the realm of the first text is...like...you'd be friends with her, she seems nice and cool, now you're going to do something that will absolutely demolish her life and destroy her soul. Huh
@mtacrdipo78706 ай бұрын
Or maybe, I don't know, it's not cheating? Let's let things play out before we start a Cancel wave that could easily be baseless.

@chaboi6856 ай бұрын
As someone who's never cheated, and has never been one to cause the cheating. That girl is not at fault, he is. It's not selfish to love someone who is loved by someone else. It's selfish to be loved by someone, continue the facade of loving them as well, only then to just cheat on them. With all this being said, the dude said he and his wife are separated, let's see how this plays out before we even claim who's in the wrong.
@thebabyrhino6 ай бұрын
Why are you making it sound like the side person has any kind of responsibility over the stupid decisions of the one in the relationship? It would've been nice if she cared, sure, but it's absolutely on the dude to stop himself from sleeping with randoms, not on the girl. She says no, he finds someone else anyways. But as the others have said, not much is known right now so we best chill n see where it goes.
