As someone who was in a 2 week "relationship" with someone like this, we HAVE to be patient. We don't know the level of unhinged the person is, and we NEED to be calm and collected and not flip out or else we could get assaulted/killed for retaliating. Not every time obviously, but the statistics of assault on women from men are high enough we have to keep our guards up around strangers. The best course of action is to ghost because we cant say ANYTHING without being scrutinized by people like this, plus in this specific situation he could see her, but she didn't see him. Just scary all around, and not a lot of men realize this because they've never been with someone who can PHYSICALLY overpower them just because they want to. Stay safe everyone. ♥

narcissist abusers do this, when you first meet them they put on this persona/mask that they’re a “nice/good” person, and then one day you do just about anything, just going about your day somehow pisses them off and they completely blow up on you like this. it’s horrible. if you don’t leave it continues. and unfortunately the reason i know all about this is bc my mom married a guy like this🫠 he probably seemed like a “nice” guy when they were first texting which is why she wanted to go on a date and then, like i said, she was just going about her day waiting on him, and he blew up on her over a misunderstanding

Its because insecure guys fall victim to the “Alpha Male” mindset gimmick the internet sells to them. They think If they act like douchebags and act abusive women will be attracted to them, because in their minds women only want douchebags who abuse them. That’s just the mindset a lot of modern men have because of their lack of social skills and disconnection from reality. Being a “nice guy” doesn’t work out for them, so they try to be the opposite of that and act like a “Chad” so they’ll finally have success with girls.

People losing their social skills during the pandemic is one thing, but I also think what's happened is the type of discourse people engage in on social media (especially Twitter) has spilled over into real life. A lot of people used to say "You wouldn't say that to someone in real life", but now people have become extremely brazen and are saying the type of sh!t they say online in real life and it's fcking terrible. @@hildab.h6112THIS! My wife and I moved extremely quickly from dating to marriage which I’d certainly not recommend to anyone else, but we were very direct and upfront about where we were at in life, what we were like, what we were looking for etc etc etc. We both brought our strengths and weaknesses into the marriage and it’s still been very tough at some points (we got married three weeks before the pandemic really kicked off and I work in healthcare so that unlocked a whole stream of chaos for a variety of reasons) but actually having some idea of what we were going into when we got married was huge. It also requires a ton of introspection, too, to be able to be direct and I feel like that’s something people may struggle with. But yeah, if you’re wanting to go long-term it’s all going to come out anyway, and the longer you hide stuff the harder it’s going to be to resolve it in the relationship. Plus building a relationship on a foundation of honesty and communication is such a huge way to maintain trust and openness, too. We’ve been happily married for almost four years now, which isn’t a long time by any means but considering how many don’t even make it through the first year I feel like it’s a very solid start.

This is why I advocate heavily for vetting harder & not meeting ppl early on after matching, regardless of what the almighty internet tells you to do. Every match is a total stranger who is potentially out of their freaking gourd, but usually on their best behavior at first. When it's not right it'll fizzle out or blow up quickly one way or another. By taking your time, you waste & risk less. I started out exchanging info & meeting a couple matches early because I thought that was "normal" & learned it's just bad pie. Had much better experiences after I started insisting on a 2-3 wk on app chat before ever considering exchanging numbers or a date. The good ones respected it. A simple "no" to meeting too soon or sharing pics can weed out a lot of stupidity early on. I only met 5 matches, 1 turned into a very healthy relationship so I am speaking from experience.

Its rough. I broke up with my fiance after 4 years and Im back into the dating scene. Im 27f. I wrote on my profile "looking for someone thats a functional adult. I have a car, a job, my own apartment-looking for someone with the same, same level" got contacted by a guy that was 30 who called me picky and a gold digger. ? Bro. Its picky for just expecting an adult? And a gold digger? I make close to 6 figures.

8:23 - I know those feels. I was the IT manager for a company for eight years. They had no idea how much effort I put into keeping everything running, smoothly, even though I regularly reported to the VP of the company what I did to keep everything running. Then, he hired his personal trainer to be the COO and put me under him. Dude had no clue. I knew the end was coming soon for my job there at that point. Eight months later they let me go, and things there went to shit within a month. They had to hire FOUR people to replace me at half my salary each, so double cost. Two months after being fired I got a call from the President of the company asking me to come back, and I said fuck no, your brother the VP and his buddy the COO are both total dicks. I'm never working for people like that again. A year later the VP emailed me asking me if I knew where a certain very important file was. I replied that it was on a hard drive that the dick COO had thrown out while "cleaning up" my office when I was on vacation I was forced to take just so the COO could establish dominance over my IT domain. He threw out so much valuable shit it was unreal.
