I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY GOT IN!!! I Found a Great Humane Mouse trap for the Hen House / Chicken Coop

I can't believe these mice got into my hen house but we're going to solve the problem once and for all. I found a great humane mouse trap that will catch any mice in the chicken coop and cause no harm to them. We've got plenty of property to set them free on. I know there's a chance they'll come back but with this mouse trap we can catch and release as often as needed.
Check out the Tin Cat Trap:

I couldn't believe what I was seeing when I went into the chicken coop the other day. Mice in my hen house, no way! I found this little humane mouse trap and the girls and I had some fun catching mice. Here's a link if you want to check it out: amzn.to/2MFYxRq

Awesome video! Love the chickens at the beginning and laughing my butt off. Looks like I left a few cracks and gaps in chicken coop, LOL. Back to the drawing board.

My home is over 100 years old and has a dirt crawl space under part of it, so occasionally, in the fall, I get a mouse (or two) in my house. Several years ago, I purchased a live trap that looks like the one you have. It works great. I also use peanut butter as the bait, but I put the peanut butter on a jar lid, then it's easier to clean up. Mice can come in through some pretty small cracks and spaces.

I really like the jar lid idea. We got peanut butter all over the inside with the popsickle stick. I love this trap, it's working out really well and I don't have to harm the mice in the process.

We do have a couple. They're catching shrews, mice, snakes, birds, rabbits, and even the occasional mole. I have something new right at my back door step everyday! Thanks for watching Wally.

great work! I found the same mice (one had a chip missing out of its ear) returning after I released them at the far end of my yard, so I started driving them a few miles down the road to release, they didn't come back.

We do have a couple of barn cats that a lady was re-homing last spring. Those cats are amazing! Everyday they're catching Voles, Mice, Rabbits, Birds, Snakes, even the occasional Mole. I know this because they leave them right on my back door step for me to step on!! 😆

We get mice every winter around here but I was hoping they wouldn't find their way into the chicken coop. This trap works well though, and the kids get to see it in action without getting upset about dead mice.

Unfortunately they will be back next day, one female Mouse can produce over 1000 mice per year, so there is no way you will keep them down if you release them, our hens actually eat the Mice if they catch them in the run, good luck with your trapping, I have the same trap and catch 8 at a time in it. Stay safe! Chris B.

Well you still dont know if you have rats because rats will not fit in that trap so you would have to add a rat trap to determine if you have rats or not lol.

I usually drowned the mice then throw them in the woods animals love them lol although 1 time I had like 25 mice and seen a falcon flying around so I went out in the middle of the field that was just cut well my yard but its huge so I call it the field, anyways I released them and watched as the falcon went nuts watching them then he finally flew down to a tree right above us then watched for a sec then swooped down and grabbed 1 not sure how many he got but atleast 1 that I know of lol anyways it was fun lol
