I think you just gotta rip off the bandaid and try it again :) Maybe go to a park in the later evening or early morning when it will be less peoplely. Your baby is super cute, I love that hat!!

Like I said in my video, I really miss doing reborn outings and I truly miss making outing videos for all of you. I will continue to work on gaining my confidence back so I can film some more reborn outings😊

Here is advice from an old woman. I think you are in a different season or stage in life. Maybe it is time to give yourself permission to not take your dolls out and do something else instead. You will also learn if you give it enough time, whether you really miss it or if it is something to keep on hold.

Hi Kelly, Perhaps you could try taking a baby out, but keep the stroller covered so no one can see your reborn??? And if someone asks to see your baby, you don't have to show them. You can you don't want to wake them and they had a rough time getting to sleep. I don't take mine out. But if I did, I wouldn't want people to bother me while I was out w/them. I do think with the world judging more and being rude with no filter, it does make you want to keep your on peace of mind. 🫂❌🌹❤

Such great advice! I do really think with how judgmental the world is right now, not only when they are face to face with someone but also with how much nastiness our hobby receives just in general, has possibly played a big role in me feeling the way that I currently feel. Like I said in my video, I LOVE doing reborn outings! They are so much fun and I enjoy seeing the end result when I make an outing video! I will definitely do an outing again and continue to try and gain my confidence back❤️

I just take mine out for walks in the neighborhood in the stroller. Our road is only for people who live out here on it. So, it's not busy at all. I'm older, tho. 1 daughter grown up. That's enough for me . Do you enjoy going out without the dolls.

The thing is that I really enjoy it and I still want to do it. The drive is definitely still there to want to take my reborns out and film videos. 2024 has been a rough year for my family and maybe it links back to me not wanting to deal with random strangers and their judgmental behaviors because it has been a tough year. I just want to enjoy taking a reborn out but realistically I know that when people see a stroller and a baby car seat, their first instinct is to look and ask questions, which I totally understand. We all have that instinct. Maybe I just don’t really feel like explaining. I feel like in the reborn hobby, we as collectors have to constantly defend ourselves on why we have these realistic babies…WHY we make videos with our dolls…WHY we role play…WHY we buy clothes for them…WHY, WHY, WHY. I have heard other collectors say this same statement as well and they get fed up with having to defend something as simple as a harmless hobby. It comes down to, we shouldn’t have to explain why and maybe we should stop trying to make outsiders understand. We are doll collectors and just simply enjoying a beautiful hobby❤️

I like the other gals comment that said to keep them covered while people around or go late at night when not busy or try another town with people don't know you. ❤ just walks are fine to film to start a slow try. Go to areas with paved trails
