He's more than that, he has an impish personality that I love. Their mother, Grandma Lolly is what I'd define as the true salt of the earth, but in a really good way.

@patriot8087 can you explain the saying "salt of the earth"
@johnhpalmer6098
@johnhpalmer6098 11 ай бұрын
@@josemarron6159 Generally speaking it can mean respect for individuals who deal with difficult/demanding situations without any fuss or complaints as definition #1 Definition 2; (a christian definition) to promote and stimulate good growth of good things (comes from the Bible). Definition 3; Something people did to destroy their enemies, rather than blessing them. In the case of Grandma Lolly, she has been, and always will be a mother, is humble, has a good sense of humor and is NOT afraid to utter the occasional profanity and is just herself. That is, she loves her sons, still brings lunch, be it bought, or made, She also encourages play and loves her grand kids. The fact that she runs the shack at Fab Rats means she gets to hang out with the gang a bit more regularly, especially since Grandpa Sherm (her husband) has passed on, I think last year. She, to me is the salt of the earth in a good way.

@@josemarron6159 (Matt. 5:13) is arguably the best-known example. To this day, people use the phrase to describe good, honest, humble people.

There's only one thing missing on your wrecker, and that's some outriggers at the back, because while stationary you're often pressing it down more than you're lifting.

Thank you for knowing the proper term.I said; "They need Rams to stake into the ground so it won't move"; but not realizing they'd "Wheelie" wasn't why I'd said this at their start.I thought it'd get pulled downhill from lack of weight.Good call.

I think outriggers were mentioned during the build. They said they would air up the bags to stop it dropping and outriggers wouldn't work because they need to be able to adjust the boom and move the truck while still pulling/ lifting. I certainly think they would be a great option for static pulls.

On this Independence Day, as we all celebrate our freedom, I would like to highlight something your long-term viewers might forget about and of which your newer viewers might be unaware. It was not so long ago that you worked a job, a demanding job, and grabbed whatever free time you had to work your hobby and passion. Things seemingly were tighter for you and your family then (as they are for so many of us today - I'm as old as your dad would have been and I still work 7 days a week). You scrounged parts from your dad's barn, you brought home treasures from the dump, and Michele had a full-time job in addition to running a household and raising the kids. But y'all stuck it out and made your bones. You were able to retire from the other job and devote yourself to your interests and this channel. It looks to be paying off! You and yours seem to be thriving and doing fine. But you have not abandoned your values. This is 100% American role model stuff here. Be proud; we are proud of folks like you as well.

🤞on the diff fix.......I'm addicted to Code Red.......... look at the dog's facial expression in the background, even he is wondering why you're eating that hot jerky ! Put a long pry bar under the tire to lift it back onto the wheel studs , like changing tires on big trucks .
