Just FYI -While both Erythritol and Stevia have zero calories, Stevia is associated with more health benefits such as lowering blood pressure and fewer potential side effects. Erythritol can cause nausea and digestive issues for some people while Stevia is known to have no harmful impact on your gut. Long term use of Erythritol causes heart attacks & strokes.

Because algorithms ... I just clicked on this when it came up in my feed. This morning I made these with 80g sorghum flour (because that's what I had) 70g Premier Protein chocolate powder 11/2 tsp baking powder 250ml milk (I used whey protein milk with MCT oil) and microwaved for 4 minutes. I plan to glaze them with peanut butter and chocolate hazelnut spread. PS I'm on a weight-gain journey💪

Oats have sugar 🤦
@qwertyCandy9 ай бұрын
Nearly everything has SOME sugar, but I really wouldn't call oats a massive source of sugar - they are mainly complex carbs and fiber, with a lot of micronutrients. Or did you think that the reason most bodybuilders eat a lot of oats is to get more sugar into their diet???
@littlevoice_119 ай бұрын
Oats have carbohydrates, not simple sugar. But the carbohydrates in oats will be digested into simple sugars. Whole oats cause a reduced blood sugar impact compared to the ground oats/flour due to ground oats increased bioavailability. The ground oats in this recipe will therefore cause a greater blood sugar spike and consequential drop (post postpranial hypoglycaemia) but this negative impact is likely spmewhat less than refined sugar found in a chocolate bar
