My OCD was jumping up and down over the thickness of the wood and resin lines..especially the 1 resin line in the bowl. Your bowl turned out very nice, I do think the lid rounds it off perfectly.
@MoonpieCreations3 жыл бұрын
Hahaha 😂. My OCD is tripping on it too but I couldn’t get the lines to be symmetrical at all. I’m looking forward to mailing it out LOL.
@tohrmentrixabyss17133 жыл бұрын
I came to the comments section to see if anyone had posted my very same thoughts. My brain short circuited when the lines didn't match up and the outer Wood patches were different thicknesses
@strawberrybird3 жыл бұрын
Having seen it in person, I can tell you that the asymmetry isn't intrusive. It actually makes the bowl look less 'sterile' than it might if all the lines were exactly the same width.

I really like your woodturnings...very inspiring. The optical illusion bowl is no exception. You can really improve the quality of your overall videos by equalizing your audio. The music was a lot louder than your voice, so I had to turn down the music the increase the voice work. Also, when I was producing videos, I would often experience electrical interference, that you had with the loud hum. Usually it was caused by a camera or microphone that was plugged into an electrical outlet on the same circuit as a florescent light. By going to battery power, that hum was eliminated. I don't know you are experiencing the same problem. If not, well, it still needs to be eliminated. Again, I really like to watch you work. It is incredible to see.
@MoonpieCreations3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the info Douglas. I have been experiencing some issues with my camera. The volume on it keep turning way down. I'm not sure how to get the hum out......it's my equipment running in the background. The camera is on a battery also. hmmmm. I'll see what I can do.
